PETALING JAYA: A PKR MP claims she was approached to switch parties and throw her support behind the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government and Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
In a statement, Sekijang MP Natrah Ismail said she was approached by two individuals, including one with the title of “Datuk Seri”, asking if she was interested in remaining as the MP for Sekijang.
Natrah claimed that on March 3, she was visited by two individuals including a person with the title “Dato’ Seri “.
“During the meeting, they said that I had done a good job in Sekijang and they wanted to help me continue my work as a member of Parliament.
“They asked if I was interested to support to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin,” she said, adding that the individuals also promised benefits in return.
However, she had rejected the offer.
“I have made it clear that I have no intention to support Muhyiddin and rejected their offer.”
“I have reported this (incident) to the PKR leadership. This is because I believe that the evil attempts to offer gifts and positions or threaten the PKR and the opposition MPs have been ongoing.
“It is clear that the minority government today is ready to do anything, except advising the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to call for an immediate parliamentary session,” she added.

kt notes:
'Tis obvious Muhyiddin and his Most Machiavellian Mafulat-ish strategist Ass-binte have already launched the biggest frog hunt in Malaysian history. The two recent captures are apparently not enough.
Read also Shafie: Govt offered Billions for frogs.
It's the very slim majority (or even no majority, masked by the sinister devious Emergency) on Muhyiddin's ability to hold parliamentary control that has enabled three eff-up ministers, blokes like 2nd-class PPBM member Encik-Dhimmi Edmund Santhara (Dep Minister FT), Raja Bodek Annuar Musa (Minister FT) and PAS MCO Violator Datuk-AudiQ7 Khairuddin Aman Razali (Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities), to get away with their MCO quarantine violations and/or rules.
Currently they are Muhyiddin's most valued assets in Moo-Moo's most deficient world, wakakaka - later may be a different story all together, wakakaka again.
ask yourself - why would a PAS '(so-called) holy man' want an Audi Q7?
It has to be mentioned that Muhyiddin and Ass-binte's frog hunt have not ended because UMNO has just spurned the Perikatan membership after the Emergency or when the next election (DE15) is on.
Be in no doubt Muhyiddin and Ass-binte will prey (not pray) on both UMNO and PKR membership, even by the divisions if possible, and mucho opportunities are apparent in (MM Online) Bersatu takes note of Umno’s plan to sever ties for GE15, will raise it with Perikatan partners:
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) acknowledged today the Umno supreme council’s decision that their current political cooperation will only last this term.
Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin said his party’s supreme council will discuss the matter later today, and raise it with its other partners in the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.
“In the matter, the political bureau took note of the Umno supreme council’s decision, that is no cooperation with Bersatu in the 15th General Election (GE15) and existing cooperation within the Perikatan Nasional government could be maintained up until the dissolution of Parliament.
“Following that, the political bureau has taken a decision that Bersatu’s stance will be decided during the Bersatu supreme council meeting this evening and the aforementioned stance will also be discussed in the upcoming Perikatan Nasional supreme council meeting with other component parties that is PAS, STAR, SAPP and Gerakan,” Hamzah said in a statement.
He was responding publicly to news reports of a letter to his party president and Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin from Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi dated February 26.
