MCA-isation of DAP is almost completed

MM Online - Under fire, Ramasamy calls Bersatu ‘comrades’, insists issue just matriculation intake (extracts):

GEORGE TOWN, April 23 — Penang Deputy Chief Minister II P. Ramasamy today sought to repair ties with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, just a day after he likened the party to Umno. [...]

The Penang lawmaker, who was criticised for equating Bersatu Pribumi with Umno over the matriculation programme intake policy, said the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government need not “stick with old policies” left by the former Barisan Nasional (BN) government.

“My issue is with the intake for the matriculation programme, not with Bersatu Pribumi. They are my comrades,” he clarified when contacted today.

He said Bersatu Pribumi should allow some space for discussion on the admission policy for the matriculation programme instead of maintaining the 90:10 ratio policy. [...]

Ramasamy came under fire from Bersatu Pribumi Secretary-General Datuk Marzuki Yahya and Penang Bersatu Pribumi information chief Khaliq Mehtab Mohd Ishaq today for equating Bersatu Pribumi with Umno in his Facebook posting yesterday. [...]

Marzuki also pointed out that Bersatu Pribumi is far different from Umno and that it has never denied the rights of other races in its fight for the Malays.

Yesterday, Ramasamy accused Bersatu Pribumi of being “entrapped in the mindset of Umno” by holding on to decisions made by Umno when the latter was in power.

He said there was a need to go beyond the 90:10 formula for the matriculation intake policy even though it is an existing formula.

Marzuki Yahya

That's the problem with an Cambridge (USA) education, wakakaka. Marzuki Yahya showed a glimpse of that when he has either the brazen temerity or the moronic idiocy to say Pribumi is far different from Umno and that it has never denied the rights of other races in its fight for the Malays on an issue where 90% of places for the matriculation program have been RESERVED for ONLY Malays with only a ONE-OFF 10% allocation for non-Malays.

... never denied the rights of other races ...? ... when you just sapu-ed 90% of places for your ethnic constituency, and with 10% for nons being only a One-Off?

We need to send him to Israel's best university, the Tel-Aviv University (ranked 201st by the 2019 Times Higher Education Ranking) to learn how the Israelis treat the Palestinians.

Perhaps by then he'll understand what Pribumi Party is doing in Malaysia is no difference to what Israelis are and have been doing to Palestinians in Israel.

Dr Ramasamy has been right that Mahathir's Pribumi Party is continuing the policies, mindset and ketuanan-ness of UMNO. Also, look at Perak and Johor - why should the MBs be only for members of chiko-Pribumi?

But alas, I bet Dr Rama has been "advised" to tone it down, even apologise if necessary, ampun TUAN ku.

After all, even Crown Prince Lim GE dares not buck the Pakatan cart in the matter of Tan Hong Pin being ousted from the Exco of the Johor State government.

The MCA-isation of DAP is almost completed. Congrats Maddy, you've done it again.

  1. U have the same problem like that rd wagging dog!

How r u going to justify this piece of trashy write:

MCA-isation of DAP is almost completed

    with yr previous article:

    Khalid Samad shows UMNO DNA

    just a few minutes ago?

Ain't both of them members of DAP?

Or u JUST don't like P. Ramasamy vis-a-vis a SYT Hannah Yeoh! One is yr aneh kindred of Hindu faith while the other a Chinese christian.

Deep down, perhaps yr aneh gene IS more exegetic than yr atheistic superficiality.

    No?

  2. Let's look at what is the right thing to do instead of politiking and squabbling on the issue of Education and Medical care for all it's citizens whether they are Bumi or Non-Bumi, Rich or poor, Urban or Rural etc.

Politicians lacks the credibility and morals to become leaders when it cannot even provide a proper education for Malaysians who wants to study or medical care to any Malaysian who needs it. These are just 2 very basic requirements which should be provided free for the well being of its citizens and the Nation.

It's a damn shame and waste of resources every year when billions upon billions are spent each year on unproductive output and maintenance of other less relevant expenditure which Malaysians can live without and should be cut and channelled towards meeting these 2 basic requirements first.

Education and health care should be free in Malaysia because everyone knows the country is rich enough to afford it, if only the politicians and the leaders have the will to implement it for the well being of a Nation and it's citizens.

  4. DAP becoming like MCA...? What utter nonsense.

Has any MCA MP been made a powerful Finance Minister? Not for the last 50 years. But even a provisional accountant of 35 years from DAP is good enough to be put in charge of the country's finances.

Has MCA ever been allowed to administer a state, ANY state? No.

Is DAP a businessman's party, funded by towkays rather than Milo-tins? No.

Has MCA politicians ever declared publicly their assets and income? No.
But DAP politicians have, nah take a look....

    https://mydeclaration.sprm.gov.my/

Has any MCA politician ever spoken up and scolded the UMNO PM like P Ramasamy, Ramkarpal, Kashturi Patto do so frequently with Toonsie and still keep their jobs? No. Instead MCA suck up to UMNO.

Even today the MCA President Wee Ka Siong is still stubbornly trying to justify 1MDB, when even UMNO members have gone completely quiet about it and Jibby is facing so many 1MDB charges in court. And yet DOCTOR Wee Ka Siong stupidly labours on, still bodeking UMNO, the UMNO that in no uncertain terms asked MCA to quit BN.

    1. I coudl spent the whole night blogging to answer all your questions but I'd just do three:

      (a) Has any MCA MP been made a powerful Finance Minister?

      (b) Has MCA ever been allowed to administer a state, ANY state? Penang under Wong Pow Nee

      (c) Is DAP a businessman's party, funded by towkays rather than Milo-tins? Ask yourself - if you still believe DAP does not have a cohort fo rich towkays behind the party, then you are blinded
Probably the Best and Most Powerful FM was Tan Siew Sin

Similarly, Penang under Wong Pow Nee is also the legacy of tunku's alliance setup. One off!

    6. So u know lah!

Now, if yr claim of the Mahathir's Pribumi Party is continuing the policies, mindset and ketuanan-ness of UMNO THEN why the reversals in giving the posts of FM, chief justice, ag to the Nons.

      Compromises?

Even when there r grumblings amongst the blur-sotongs, ketuanan freaks & the bloodsucking blue bloods?

The ONLY possibility for yr back-to-umno DNA claim WILL be fulfilled when mamak retires!

& that's ONLY slightly more than 365 days away.

      Keep praying, mfer!

Can u ever imagine lge putting his fingers through the accounting messes of felda, tabung haji, pnb & kazanah?

Besides, SOME of these quagmire's causalitie r best remained 'in-house'.

The zombies, ketuanan freaks & the blur-sotongs WOULD have a field days in political assassin & fitnahs - worst than what that f*cked such, mom, of yrs can fabricated in overdrive mode.

Come to think of it, has Azmin as Econs Min ACTUALLY taking on the "real" power in key economic issues?

Think lah, WHY mamak still needs daim! Bcoz at the end of the day that Dökkálfar Dwarf is still a tin-kosong as far as econ issues go! But mamak needs a superficial melayu frontman that that Dökkálfar Dwarf fits in nicely.

Rafizi WOULD be a better choice IF only he doesntd side with that confident but incompetent manmanlai!

btw, its a wise move to dilute fm post 1) no concentration of power, hope the same for pm post 2) some malay privilege thingy better handled by a malay minister 3) an extraordinary reason, lge is not a capable one, he is good at taking not giving, too manja by his dad, basically a useless adou.

  5. Lets be clear, the 2018 bump in Metrikulasi intake for Nons was a 1-off pre-General Election stunt by BN/Najib.

Nons parents understood that very well , that is why it did not translate into an an outporing of Nons support for BN...wakaakakaka...

However, I agree PH needs to look at ways to rework the decades-old entry formula.

  6. As I mentioned in my comment above and you have confirmed in the examples given that it was HALF A CENTURY ago when MCA was last relevant and (nearly) equal partners in government, and when their leaders were not inept, incompetent or simply UMMO’s boot lickers and window dressing that they have been since then. But MCA can’t live on history alone. DAP leaders know that. They know their survival depends on their performance today, not the performance of Karpal Singh or Chen Mun Hin.
