Ahmad Maslan tells why BN confident of winning GE15

Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan says GPS leaders are appreciative of BN’s decision to stay out of Sarawak.

PONTIAN: Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan has voiced confidence that Barisan Nasional will win 112 of the 178 seats it is contesting in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah.

“On top of that, we are confident Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) will be with us because we are the only coalition that is not contesting against it in Sarawak,” he said.

In an interview with FMT, Ahmad said this was why BN was upbeat about forming the next government.

Pakatan Harapan and Perikatan Nasional are contesting against GPS candidates in Sarawak.

Ahmad said GPS leaders were appreciative of BN’s decision to stay out of Sarawak.

“We have also heard from them that they are confident of winning a minimum of 25 seats,” he said. “If you add that to our 112 seats, we can form a stable government.”

“We will win a majority along with GPS. That is the plan.”

He said the projection did not include seats to be won by Gabungan Rakyat Sabah, which has an electoral pact with BN.

Ahmad is BN’s candidate for Pontian.

Commenting on former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s claim that PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim had a pact of sorts with BN chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Ahmad said it was all in “Mahathir’s imagination”.

The general election is on Nov 19 with early voting on Nov 15. The election campaign started on Saturday.

    1. A diversion to remind this know-nothing about his Santa Claus fart about the NordStream sabotage.

      From the DarkWeb

British Navy's Vanguard-class nuclear submarine HMS Victorious aborted a 'top secret mission' after it caught massive fire about 6 weeks ago while carrying out a top secret mission in the North Atlantic Ocean. The vessel's 130-plus crew, including those off-duty, responded to the fire incident by dousing the electrical fire aboard. The submarine was carrying the Trident 2 nuclear ICBMs when the submarine went into flames. The captain commanded the sub to surface & to return to base at HMNB Clyde in Faslane, Scotland.

6 weeks ago, the NordStream pipes were bombed.

Russia took no immediate reaction to retaliate the sabotage. Russia ONLY disclosed later that UK had a hand in the bombing of the pipelines.

Russia had his score even when they discovered that a UK sub was carrying out the bombing. Russko responded, though a bit too late to save the pipelines. But they managed to heavily damaged the 30yr old nuclear sub.

The Swede investigation team knew about the sensitive UK sub's physical damage as there were satellite picture about its surface navigation near the damaged pipeline location!

Mfer, prepare to get yr St Nicklaus to fly through yr window to salvage yr apology!
