Nicky Liow pleads not guilty to RM36mil money laundering charges
Nicky Liow claimed trial after the 26 counts of money laundering were read to him by an interpreter in the Shah Alam sessions court.
SHAH ALAM: Former fugitive Nicky Liow pleaded not guilty in the sessions court here today to 26 counts of money laundering totalling RM36 million.
The 34-year old businessman, alleged to be the head of an organised criminal group, made the plea after the charges were read to him in Mandarin before judge Helina Sulaiman.
Clad in black jeans and a long-sleeve t-shirt, Liow surrendered to police yesterday after being on the run for a year.
