He said the PN leaders were there on invitation by the organisers.
He reportedly issued the statement after videos of the performance by the three female dancers attired in leggy cabaret-style costumes in front of the political leaders went viral early today.

Muhyiddin is chairman of PN and president of Bersatu, while Hamzah is secretary-general of both PN and Bersatu.
According to Malaysiakini, there were about 800 people at the event. They included the local business fraternity and Chinese community leaders.
Among those present was tycoon Tan Choon Hwa, who is the executive chairman of TCH Resources Group, the portal reported.
Also in attendance were Bersatu youth chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal and senator Dominic Lau, who is president of Gerakan, a PH component.
Lau’s name was also featured on the stage backdrop alongside those of Muhyiddin, who was credited as the chairman of the National Recovery Council, and Hamzah.
The event was held in the midst of the campaign period for the Johor state election, which will take place on March 12.
The cabaret-like dance show was just one of the items in the evening’s entertainment lineup, which also included pop music.
Malaysiakini quoted Lau as saying after the event that it was not organised by PN. He clarified that the leaders were only invited by the “local Chinese business community”.
He added that he had not known about the performance, as it had already been arranged by the organiser earlier.
He also backed Muhyiddin’s assurance that the Chinese community need not be afraid of PAS.
He was quoted as saying that this was proven during Muhyiddin’s tenure as prime minister, which saw PAS leaders assume ministerial positions and not raise anything about hudud. – The Vibes, March 5, 2022

Ha ha ha...how Moo Mo had to scramble to avoid backlash from the Malay voters.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course he (Moo Moo) had to reassure them that there was nothing to be wary about PAS.
The nons should be even more afraid of what PAS's long term plans are...and it definitely not be good for the nons.
