Simbol2 Haram

MM Online - Under ‘haram’ spotlight, iconic Langkawi eagle’s status in question

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 4 — Kedah deputy mufti Syeikh Marwazi Dziyauddin has assured the public there would be no rush to demolish Langkawi’s iconic eagle statue, after it was thrown again into media spotlight over its purported “haram” or forbidden status in Islam.

Syeikh Marwazi said the Kedah Fatwa Council will need to first be consulted, adding that the state mufti department will discuss the matter with the local authorities to determine the next course of action over the statue in Dataran Lang. [...]

He noted that this was an old issue that was being raised again, acknowledging the possibility that the initial proposal to build the eagle statue was not first referred to the Kedah Islamic Religious Department. [...]

On Friday, Perak deputy mufti Zamri Hashim had in a column in local daily Berita Harian wrote that it was forbidden in Islam to make full-bodied statues of living creatures such as humans or animals, citing consensus of Muslim scholars from all Sunni schools of jurisprudence.

The Ipoh chief of Islamist group Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (Isma) also said that if such statues have already been built, its demolition is “wajib” or compulsory. [...]

Defending his deputy’s views, Perak mufti Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria said yesterday that the construction of replicas or monuments resembling living creatures was forbidden.

“Any living creatures, except for trees, cannot be built as a replica or monument if it is done in a condition with all limbs complete,” he was quoted saying yesterday by news outlet Astro Awani.

Velly velly good.

Double standards

In the Melaka Gateway project, a RM30 billion deal, the construction firms will reclaim three islands off the coast of Melaka the federal government has hailed the project, while it condemns Penang state for reclaiming land from the sea in Penang.

MM Online reports: The Fisheries Development Board (LKIM) today gave the assurance that the board will do its utmost to prevent any land reclamation activities at the Permatang Damar Laut, Sungai Batu and Teluk Kumbar areas, here.

Its chairman Datuk Irmohizam Ibrahim said the board had vehemently opposed the project proposed by the Penang DAP government, deemed to be non-beneficial to the fishermen there.

He said the proposed reclamation area which covered an area of 809.73 hectares for the development of three artificial islands was believed to be harmful to the ecosystem and thus would jeopardise the livelihood of 1,700 fishermen from Teluk Kumbar, Gertak Sanggul, Sungai Batu and Permatang Damar Laut areas.

“The rationale of the reclamation project, as I see it, is more towards corporatisation and commercialisation, while the welfare of the lower class groups is ignored.

“This is a crucial matter and as LKIM chairman I have to ensure fish source especially fresh fish, is always available. The important thing is we are trying to reduce fish imports and Balik Pulau is among areas in Penang as well as the Melaka Straits, with the most abundant fish supply.

“So, do not destroy the economic resources available as well as the areas in which the fishermen had depended on for their livelihood all these years,” he told reporters after meeting fishermen at Dewan Nelayan Unit Sungai Batu, Teluk Kumbar, near here.

Also present was Balik Pulau MP, who is also Health Deputy Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya. Irmohizam said LKIM had built a fishermen market at Teluk Kumbar, Sungai Batu and Pulau Betong areas so that fishermen could sell their catch directly to customers and earn up to RM4 million yearly, and if the project was approved it would affect the fishermen's sales revenue.

Well, that's typical UMNO fairness.

Anti Chinese?

MM Online - Ismail Sabri: Give BN mandate again to administer Penang

GEORGE TOWN, Sept 3 — Penang voters should give Barisan Nasional (BN) the mandate again to administer Penang following the failure of DAP in resolving issues arising during its eight-year administration.

Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the party had failed to fulfil all promises made in its manifesto for the last general election, which was prepared merely for them to capture the state from BN.

“Since the early days of DAP ruling Penang, the party has failed to fulfil all the promises it has made...(abolish) tolls, bridge and so forth were only election promises and have not been implemented.

“If we are still not aware of the lies by DAP, I think we or Penang will face problems...all the promises made are not fulfilled, they just want to garner votes,” he told a press conference after officiating the Bayan Baru Umno division delegates meeting here yesterday night.

Ismail Sabri, who is also Rural and Regional Development Minister, said the Penang DAP government had also failed to prove that they were clean and transparent when they were also facing the issue of corruption. — Bernama

While in politics, anything is possible, like Gerakan taking over Penang from Perikatan in 1969 and DAP taking over from BN in 2008, surely Ismail Sabri Yaakob is the LAST person to tell that to Penangites.

After all, wasn't he the very man who promoted Law Yat 2 against the Chinese?

Ismail had also called on Malays to boycott Chinese traders in a bid to compel them to lower the prices of their goods.

University Malaya law lecturer lecturer Azmi Sharon informed us that Ismail Sabri Yaakob had been not only a bullshitter but a batu api (provocateur), claiming “... that only the Chinese oppress consumers” and “... only consumers who are being oppressed have been the Malays”.

Ismail Sabri Yaakob also said he would terminate all sponsorships from Taylor College (attended by mostly nons) and create a new Taylor College 2 in Mara for only Malays, just like he did Low Yat 2. also only for Malays.

The man obviously loved being racially divisive, aiming to marginalize the nons

In essence, Ismail Sabri Yaakob could be said to be anti Chinese.

Sheep and cattle

MM Online - Inhumane transportation of livestock

The author of this humane-to-animals article is SM Mohamed Idris, president of Sahabat Alam Malaysia (SAM). He wrote something which would find resonance with most Aussies who love and respect animals of all types. I'm not sure whether he will be favourably accepted by most Malaysians? He wrote (extracts):

August 29 commemorates the biggest live export disaster which took place in 1996 when a ship carrying 67,000 sheep on board caught fire and disappeared in the Indian Ocean.

The ship was on route from Australia to Jordan – Australia’s biggest market for live sheep – when fire started in the engine room and spread to the crew’s quarters, killing one of the 55 crew members, while the remaining crew abandoned ship.

This tragic incident is not the only one, for another similar incident occurred in 1980, when 40,600 sheep were lost in a fire on a ship travelling from Tasmania to Iran.

On the Malaysian turf in February 1998, 2,400 head of livestock were stranded when they arrived from Geraldton in Western Australia on the MV Anomis.

Suddenly the agent acting for the vessel’s owners, Agro Livestock Ltd cancelled the contract causing the vessel to be refused entry to Port Klang. When the ship finally docked after obtaining an order from the High Court, 285 goats and 113 cattle were found to have died from exhaustion, stress and pneumonia.

Transport of live animals especially of mainly sheep and lambs over long distances by sea from Australia or New Zealand to mainly the Gulf nations is due to the Islamic requirements of proper ritual slaughter in accordance with Quranic procedures, otherwise the sheep and lambs could be slaughtered in their home countries by qualified Muslim butchers and their frozen mean then transported.

But somehow the Arabs want to slaughter the sheep themselves. Perhaps they don't trust the Aussie Muslims doing the job, who are mainly Afghans and Somalians. Maybe they think those Aussie Muslims are Shiites or they (Gulf Arabs) want to see blood themselves.

There is also a far smaller transport of live cattle from Australia to mainly Indonesia but lately due to Aussie concern and consequential brouhaha (by Aussie animal groups) over the way the Indons brutally hammered (with sledge hammers) the cattles for slaughter, the Indons have been playing merajuk and hard-to-get and have downsized the trade, much to the consternations of Aussie cattle owners. It's obvious the Indons don't like those patronizing and criticizing Aussies, wakakaka.

Once the Gulf Arabs did the same merajuk don't-want-to-communicate-with-Aussie trick, and some 40,000 sheeps went from port to port to port (suffering along the long odyssey) because the Gulf Arabs, after ordering the live animals, refused to accept the load.

Eventually, out of desperation and perhaps with Aussie government financial backing (under political pressure from animal lovers groups), the poor very much suffering sheep were off loaded in Ethiopia (or one of the poor African countries - perhaps Eritrea?), free of charge to the locals.

There was also a recent hue and cry in Oz about the way the Viets were slaughtering the Australian bred cattles, which was not unlike the Indons' way, quite inhuman and brutal.

The Aussies didn't/don't realize the Viets or Indons don't have the sophisticated tools or slaughtering devices and machines they have, as it all boils down to cost.

Why don't the Aussies donate some of those tools, machines etc, seeing as how they have been so concerned. In fact, nowadays, in Oz and NZ, the RSPCA in each country has a big say, and you will note that (like Halal certification) the meat or chooks in supermarkets have a 'Preparation of this meat (or fowl) has been approved by RSPCA' or words to that effect.

But I bet if those Aussies are aware of how our Muslims slaughter cattle or camels on Eid al Adha, they will go bonkers. But there are many such religious activities all around the Muslim World so what could they say?

Hmmm, maybe they will pick on Japs for slaughtering whales in the Antarctic Sea and South Koreans for dogs at home?

How PM can win Chinese votes (1)

MM Online - Zahid: Umno must pay heed to interests of non-Malays

SABAK BERNAM, Aug 31 — Umno must pay heed to the interests of non-Malays because the backbone of the Barisan Nasional consistently received their support in general elections, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He said Umno would still need their support in the coming 14th general election (GE14).

“For GE14, Umno as the backbone of the BN must take into consideration the interests of non-Malays to help the BN win, asides from the deposit of Malay support,” he said when opening Sungai Besar Umno delegates’ conference here today.

Ahmad Zahid wanted Chinese voters back in BN thus he said mollifying words. Will the Chinese bite as they did in Sarawak and Sungai Besar?

In general the middle-age and more senior Chinese may or may not, but the younger ones can be said to have lost complete faith in BN or MCA or Gerakan.

PM Najib is also echoing Ahmad Zahid's words, so let's see what happens, but I like to make a few recommendations to the PM and DPM, who mentioned taking care of non-Malay or Chinese interests, namely:

(a) The Chinese are obsessed with their children's education. As I have said before, it's one of the central pillars of their culture and civilisation. If you don't care about their children's education that's okay, it's your prerogative, but don't expect them to swamp back to BN.

But it'll to your benefit of you make some sincere positive efforts in helping them realize their educational aspirations if you want their votes (why do you think they voted DAP?)

So, as a start, recognize the UEC or if your educationists believe the UEC standard is far too low, help the DJKZ improve it. But those educationists shouldn't deliberately put unnecessary obstacles in the way of recognizing the UEC to render it unrecognizable.

I'll continue on how PM and the DPM can help win the Chinese votes, if they are really interested in teh Chinese interests, wakakaka.

Indian gangsters

Tamil gangsters - gang war in Chennai

A group of civil society leaders said that reports that Tamil schools are a breeding ground for gangsterism were inaccurate as they were based on a misquote.

The group said they had met MySkills Foundation director S Pasupathi for clarification.

"We are able to confirm that Pasupathi did not say that 'Tamil schools are a breeding ground for gangsterism'.

"He said that children who are from poor socio-economic backgrounds are most susceptible to gangsterism irrespective of the schools they attend.

"We do agree that what he said has been misquoted," they said in a joint statement today.

The statement was signed by community leader A Vaithilingam, Action Plan for Future of Tamil Schools' NS Rajendran, M Muthusamy and S Supramani, activist K Arumugam and UKM Institute of Ethnic Studies' KS Nathan and Denison Jayasooria as well as Pasupathai.

On Aug 26, Pasupathi told a forum that gang insignia were found in the toilets of Tamil schools.

He said students were exposed to such elements from a young age.

In the statement today, Pasupathi said it was "regrettable" if he was misunderstood.

"I never discredited or intended to discredit Tamil schools and I will never do that," he was quoted as saying.

The group also affirmed that Tamil schools are a national heritage to the country and an important component of the cultural identity of the Malaysian Tamil community.

"We call on the community to work together to address the root causes affecting high-risk youths.

"We call on all to move forward and continue to focus on effective solutions for the betterment of the community and nation," they said.

Years ago, back in the 60's, my uncle told me that all sorts of Chinese gangs roamed Penang. There were the 4-Holes (See K'ang or Sei Ke'long), 8 Immortals (Pat Hsien), Gang 24 (Ji see), Yellow Eagle (Ooi Eng), Black & White Tiger (Aw Peh Haw), Red Rose (Ang Hwa), Vikings, so on so forth.

Apparently See K'ang (4 Holes) was the Big Brother of many, namely, Black & White Tiger, Red Rose, Vikings etc. Eight Immortals or Pat Hsien was their mortal enemy, whilst Yellow Eagle and Group 24 were independent gang groups, the former operating in my village Ayer Itam, wakakaka, while the latter, Group 24, had a more ancient pedigree.

And one of the most notorious gangsters in Penang was an Indian, probably a Tamil, who spoke excellent Penang Hokkien just like a Penang Chinese.

He was Supaya of Ang Hwa (Red Rose). He wasn't the only Indian gangster in Penang but he was definitely the most notorious. His notoriety was not only about his exceptional ability in gang fights (he was a tiger general, meaning he was a gang leading fighting leader) but about his super-capacity to imbibe Hennessey Brandy. It seems he could quaffed off more than a 750 cc bottle of VSOP Hennessey at a sitting.

That was in the '60s. Today 50% of gangsters in Peninsula Malaysia are Indians, and on 6 July this year, a group of 10 of them with machetes attacked a nightclub in the Dutamas area of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The club was called Destiny Club. Three people – two men and one woman – were slashed. All three were of Indian descent.

It was reported that the motive for the attack was an earlier dispute with the management of the nightclub – the attackers apparently wasn't satisfied with the service they received. The girl worked in the bar as a cashier. She was slashed to death.

WWII Jap-trained Judge?

MM Online - Cells should have mosquitoes, rats and cockroaches to make criminals fear prison, says retired judge

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 — A retired judge has proposed the setting up of a Special Court to dispose of serious crime cases expeditiously and with the appropriate penalty, probably within a year. [...]

Mohd Noor said heavy punishment should also be meted out to the offenders to prevent them from repeating the crime.

“We usually mete out punishment from light to heavy, for example imposing a fine, then imprisonment and, finally, whipping.

“The laws must be amended to provide for the heaviest sentence to be meted out first followed by the lighter ones. Only then will people be afraid to commit crime; they fear the punishment,” he said.

Referring to the prison system, Mohd Noor said no prison should provide “VIP amenities” to inmates and, if there was such a thing, it should be stopped at once.

“Some people commit crimes simply because they want to enjoy the ‘benefits’ available in the prisons.

“These prisoners do not repent. They know that going to prison means free food and sound sleep.

“It is not that I want the Prisons Department to be aggressive or beat up prisoners. The department has to make the prison an uncomfortable place so that prisoners regret committing crimes and detest going to prison.

“For example, a prison cell should have mosquitoes, rats and cockroaches that can be a bother for prisoners,” he said.

It's amazing that such monsters still exist today. i wonder about his judgements when he was a working judge.

Unwelcome immigrant - Zika

The Zika virus, carried by the Aedes mosquitoes, also carriers of Dengue fever, is either here in Malaysia or will be here shortly, perhaps starting off in Johor and spreading up northwards. Then we will have a choice of either Zika fever or Dengue fever.

What do we do then? Can we fight those deadly fevers?

Yes, according to Dr Amar Singh HSS, though he was a wee unhopeful, but nonetheless he warned us via the MM Online that:

1. The Zika virus is spread mainly by infected Aedes mosquitoes and also by sexual transmission. Our nation is rich with Aedes mosquitoes.

[he is either still a virgin or just too bashful to say our nation is also 'rich' with sexual exploits of the illicit variety, wakakaka, thus there would be lots of unofficial or hopefully unrecorded sexual transmission, wakakaka, especially when you have muftis talking about having sex on the back of a camel or un-remarried divorced women were likely to be 'gatal sedikit']

[and on sex, Universiti Malaya's Prof Dr Mahmud Zuhdi Abdul Majid recommended more misyar marriages in which the Prof explained the difference between misyar and a polygamous marriage was that the husband did not have to provide money or clothing for his other wife but would only be there to satisfy her sexual needs]

[Thus he recommended misyar marriage to overcome the rising number of unmarried Muslim divorcees and women. In fact Utusan Malaysia had quoted him saying that misyar marriages could also reduce the incidence of vice among Muslim women. Hmmm, 'upstanding' crime fighters!]

2. The virus is new to us, we are not immune to it, there is no definitive drug to treat it and any vaccine will take a few years to be developed and tested.

[Malaysian doctors and medical scientists, here's your opportunity to be the first to discover a cure, no matter how many years it may take]

3. Most importantly we have failed as a nation in our fight against Dengue, and the same mosquito vectors carry Zika.

Dr Amar Singh explained that as a nation we have failed in our social due diligence in the following message he has given us:

The best way to prevent Zika is to prevent mosquito bites. This means getting rid of Aedes mosquitoes. The public will demand that the Ministry of Health (MOH) take action on this, like they have for Dengue. But Zika, like Dengue will not be controlled by the MOH alone, but only with the involvement of the people of this country, every person.

Vector borne diseases require us either to avoid the vector (preventing mosquitoes’ bites is not easy) or removing the vector (preventing mosquitoes breeding which is possible).

But we are a dirty nation. We like to believe it is a minority that throw rubbish and the majority are civic minded. But the reality is that many Malaysians throw rubbish anywhere they like. A visit to recreational areas will show you how trashed we are. Our cities are rubbished, drains choked and even hospital compounds littered by visitors.

We have a small window of opportunity to prevent the wide spread of Zika virus in the nation.

Every single Malaysian needs to act today to prevent Zika transmission.

We need to aggressively, proactively and consistently keep our home compounds, our neighbourhoods and our cities clean.

We must empower our authorities to take action against those who do not do so and endanger the health of our children. This includes construction sites, recreational areas, public amenities, etc.

Our politicians must not be allowed to interfere when compounds are issued for mosquitoes breeding at projects or development sites – governmental or private.

Our city councils must really work, not claim to work. We must work as communities to change our recalcitrant neighbours.

Some will say it cannot be done but this is not true. Singapore has been able to reduce its Aedes household/premises index (percentage of facilities breeding Aedes) from 50 per cent in the 1970s (i.e. every other house) to 0.2 per cent in 2013.

His message is vital, timely and precise.

Additionally, my Penang lang, Dr Neil Khor, had once written of using anti-larvae methods, namely the use of guppies (peacock hu) to combat the larvae of mosquitoes, regardless of whether those larvae belong to Aedes or Anopheles mossies.

not above guppy types (designed cosmetic types for aquarium only) - also called rainbow fish or millionfish

use the local less colourful rugged Malayan feeder guppies (below pic) which adapt easily to the wild, dirty ponds, holes, drains, cesspool, etc

local or feeder guppies (peacock hu)
locals use them to feed Oscar fish
they're rugged and adaptive to all environment
they'll eat up mossie larvae

Thus it beholds every, I say again, every Malaysian citizen to spread local or feeder guppies or peacock hu everywhere, and not just for your predatorial Oscar fish. Once in Penang one could get peacock hu everywhere, and I mean everywhere, even in drains.

Guppies are easily bred and quite prolific in their breeding too. Just keep a couple and you'll probably have a few hundreds within 3 months. Go forth and spread those pisces delights (fiends to mossie larvae and friends of ours). It's your duty and responsibility.

Review of Malaysia

Yesterday was Malaysia's Merdeka celebrations. Dirgahayu Malaysia.

(by the way, I learnt of the word 'Dirgahayu' in Indonesia when I was studying there. It means 'Long Live' or 'Viva' or 'Wanwansui'. Indons love Sanskrit derived words in their lingo, and Javanese is made up of a large number of Sanskrit word - it's part of their Hindu-Buddhist culture which they're still very proud of, unlike Malays in Malaysia, most of whom want to be like Arabs or be Arabs)

Talking about Malaysia, I was over at RPK's blog and left a comment there in one of his many posts. I wrote (but expanded here with additional statements):

I was having a chat with a few ex Malaysians in Australia, and our main point of interest was the amazing realization that despite all the financial profligacy (waste, corruption, kleptocracy, etc) in Malaysia, the country is still doing damn bloody fine, financially, commercially, socially and administratively, though not so religiously (maybe a different post on the last soon?).

This means Malaysia is intrinsically damn bloody rich, both in natural assets and people, and we have the additional asset of a decent British-inherited public/social administration.

There are more wealth to be exploited, discovered and harvested. The potential is incredibly enormous. We might not have been the original growers of rubber, palm oil, cocoa, etc, but our agri-based agencies like RRI etc have turned our agri products (in particular 'cash crops') like rubber, palm oil and cocoa, etc into the world's best, where we set the benchmark.

And likewise with tin though this metal is no longer as important as it used to be with the advent of plastic (which requires oil), but one day with oil gradually diminishing, tin may once again resume its global importance especially with the now-near-vital habit of recycling.

As I said then, be thankful you're living in Midas-rich Malaysia (though someone became Mr Minus, wakakaka) instead of pissed-poor Vietnam, Indon, Cambodia, Laos or Philippines, etc. Their current inability to fully harvest/exploit their natural resources can only mean they'll continue to be poor.

And of course if we didn't help the Indons with palm oil, they would be poorer and we would be without smoke haze, wakakaka. That's a dog biting you for feeding it.

We OTOH have inherited a damn good public/social administration from the British which we are doing our damn best to destroy, wakakaka. Despite our several problems with our British-inherited judiciary, which we also try our best to destroy wakakaka, it's still one of the best, admittedly no longer THE best, in the region.

Yes, we desire to replace those Pommie inheritance with Arab systems, like their judicial systems and courts, wakakaka. The late Baroness Margaret Thatcher (former British PM) once said (words to the effect), much as I disliked her arrogance, national justification and complete political insensitivity, countries that were once colonised by the British should be thankful for her (Britain's) systems, and that they were not colonised by other European nations.

She was right in more than one ways, though no one wants to be colonised by anyone, least of all the Yanks* (Philippines, Vietnam), Belgians (Congo), Dutch (Indons), Portuguese (Macau, Malacca, Brazil, Goa, Timur, etc) or Spanish (Philippines, South America).

* only ancient civilisations like Japan, South Korea and Taiwan (or China) could withstand Americanizations to a certain extent. Newer nations became victims of Americanizations as in the Philippines and former non-communist South Vietnam

Our Westminster parliamentary democracy, warts and all, is still the envy of many of our more deprived neighbours, though our EC should be re-vamped thoroughly, wakakaka. Our decent and quite good health facilities are still cheaper than many other countries.

And that's why we are having continuous illegal immigration which some of our major employers and politicians are abetting (illegally, wakakaka).

Nonetheless, let's count our blessings instead of our misfortunes.

I am a Malay

FMT - Ridhuan rapped for ‘unpatriotic sportsmen’ remarks

What about WP? Should it go back to Selangor?
What about Labuan? Shouldn't it be reattached to Sabah?

Why only Penang?

PETALING JAYA: Controversial academician Ridhuan Tee Abdullah has come under fire for saying Malaysian Olympic medal winners are unpatriotic and only competing in sports for monetary rewards.

MCA Youth Secretary-General Leong Kim Soon said the article penned by Tee could destroy the harmony and unity of Malaysians. [...]

In his column in a Malay language daily published on Monday, Tee said sports had become a business and also a means to gain popularity. He said it was no longer for patriotism, but only for show.

He wrote that “ultra-kiasu” (mercenary) athletes competed for monetary rewards rather than for patriotic reasons and thus were driven towards individual sports, rather than sports which required teamwork.

Ridhuan, a Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) lecturer, also urged for more diversity among Malaysian athletes.

In response, Leong said sports transcended race and religion.

“Malaysia’s badminton exponents, who coincidentally are ethnic Chinese, united all Malaysians, irrespective of race and religion, during their semi-final and final matches at the Rio Olympics.

“Malaysians were kept glued to their television sets, cheering for our sportsmen and sportswomen. They fully embodied the spirit of solidarity when our badminton players were presented with the precious medals,” said Leong.

The athletes’ passion, skills and hard work were dismissed by Tee, said Leong, “He not only belittled the efforts and hard work of our Olympians, he also insulted everyone across the nation.”

Leong Kim Soon has missed an important point in the lexicon of Ridhuan Tee Abdullah (RTA).

'Ultra kiasu' in RTA's words does not mean 'mercenary'. Indeed not - it specifically means Chinese Malaysians, especially (though not exclusively) those aligned to the DAP. Sometimes he extends 'ultra kiasu' to Chinese Singaporean, wakakaka.

Thus he was criticising ONLY Chinese Malaysian athletes, people like the 6 Chinese Malaysian silver medallists, namely Lee Chong Wei, Goh V Shem, Tan Wee Kiong, Chan Peng Soon, Goh Liu Ying and the Chinese half of the silver-winning diving pair, Cheong Jun Heong.

God forbids RTA dares to or has the balls to question Malay/Bumi athletes like Pandelela Rinong and Azizhasni Awang.

It's rumoured that during RTA's hasty circumcision to desperately become a Muslim, the harassed Ustaz's hand slipped and apart from nipping off the foreskin of RTA's wee weenie, he also accidentally sliced off both of RTA's balls.

RTA just couldn't control his obsessed need to speak out against 6 Chinese Malaysian medallists in the Malaysian contingent to the Olympics in Rio. No one else in Malaysia other than Utusan and Cosmos have noted the distinction of races in the Malaysian winners, thus RTA is in his usual racist company.

There is no one in Malaysia, not even PERKASA or ISMA or low-yat-2 Ismail Sabri Yaakob or Mahathir or any Chinese Malaysians hater, who has attacked, condemned, criticized, blasted, spat at or kicked at Chinese Malaysians more than Ridhuan Tee Abdullah. It has become his sole obsessive fixated objective in his miserable life, to prove to Malays he is a true convertee.

I urge him to forgo his name of Tee because he has been insulting his Chinese ancestor day in and day out. Please change Tee to Taufik or Tambee or Tawab a.s.a.p

Dirgahayu Malaysia

Congratulations Malaysia and Malaysians on your National Day.

the best ever PM we had

And for our Sabahan and Sarawakian brethrens, you celebrate your union with Malaya 16 days later only because Soekarno of Indonesia and Macapagal of Philippines protested to the UN, which forced us to delay merger by those 16 days, in order to conduct a last minute check on the wishes of the Sabahans and Sarawakians by the Cobbold Commission.

Thus 31st August is our true pre-planned/original National Independence Day whilst 16th September has been a date forced on us by foreigners.

The date of 31 st August was said by the late grandfather of former PM AAB to be an auspicious Islamic date for our Independence.

I have a new post over at KTemoc Kongsamkok titled Grandfather's story (2) - The ghost which was caught, wakakaka.

Syariah-compliant or korupsi-compliant?

Star Online - MACC picks up bank chief

PETALING JAYA: Bank Rakyat chairman Jen (ret) Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Haji Zainal has been detained for questioning over a RM15mil case, the second top level person from the bank to be hauled up by the MACC.

The bank’s managing director, Datuk Mustafha Abd Razak, was detained on Thursday and has since been remanded.

MACC investigation director Datuk Azam Baki confirmed that the commission had moved in yesterday.

“I confirm the arrest. It is to facilitate the ongoing investigation,” he said, declining to elaborate further.

A source told The Star that the chairman was detained at his office in Jalan Rakyat at about 1.15pm yesterday.

Jen (ret) Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Haji Zainal

Bank Rakyat became a full-fledged Islamic cooperative bank by the beginning of 2003, when it successfully converted its 1.1% conventional assets balance to comply with Syariah guidelines. Yet, alamak lah, its staff regularly failed to meet the honesty bench mark of Islamic requirements.

In 2014 Lim Kit Siang stated on the DAP website that Tan Sri Sabbaruddin [Chik] has just been sacked as Bank Rakyat Chairman by the Minister for Domestic Trade, Co-operative and Consumerism Datuk Seri Hasan Malek because Sabbarruddin and the bank’s board of directors refused to comply with the Minister’s directive to approve the settlement of a RM32 million loan without calculation of any interest, but on a 120 post-dated cheques to be cashed in by the bank over a 10-year period.

Apparently, the scandal of RM32 million interest-free loan might possibly have involved controversial businessman Deepak Jaikishan.

Wakakaka.

But much earlier, back in the 70's, Bank Rakyat staff had been also arrested and masuk lok-up for criminal acts, wakakaka.

What a notorious syariah-complaint bank. Podah!

I prefer this non-complaint photo
