Trump was in Turkey for a NATO summit when cameras caught him publicly boarding the older Air Force One jet, the one he said he wanted to fly "for old time's sake." White House staff and traveling journalists boarded with him, believing the president was onboard.
He wasn't.
Trump had already been quietly loaded into an airport catering cart — the kind used to stock in-flight meals — and driven across the tarmac to a completely different aircraft, a military C-32A.
That decoy plane carrying the press was ordered to keep its window shades closed for the entire flight.
Reporters had no idea where their own president actually was for hours.
The situation was serious enough that the Secret Service didn't trust any of Trump's usual planes — including the luxury 747 gifted by Qatar.
The most protected man in the world had to sneak out in a food truck.

Effective immediately, the Department of War has REVOKED former Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall’s eligibility for access to classified information and his ability to hold any sensitive position.
This action follows his unauthorized disclosure of classified information regarding Air Force One’s capabilities to a media outlet.
Safeguarding classified information is a non-negotiable duty. Those who violate that trust forfeit the privilege of access and any role requiring it.

The media is up in arms because Trump didn’t tell him that he ditched them on AF1 by using a catering truck.
The story is that there was a credible threat from Iran and that’s why Trump secretly switched planes.
We know that’s not true because the media and other staff flew that plane from the airport.
This has to be a purposeful narrative deployment to make the media look like fools, but to also expose that most of them don’t care at all about Trump’s safety.
But I think this is just a cover story to get the media focused on the wrong thing and distracted.
It’s almost too easy.
Here’s my question, as soon as this story broke:
Who was Trump meeting with “secretly” overseas, that required a face to face meeting, completely out of media view or knowledge?
Was it Erdogan?
Netanyahu?
Leader of Syria?
Here’s a possibility.
The leader of Hamas.
Wasn’t the world recently shocked by Hamas agreeing to disarm and sign a peace deal?
More to the story than we know.
He could have met face to face with Putin for all we know.
So much happening in the background.
