RPK’s sudden Madani-friendly tone raises question “if his past paymasters have abandoned him”

ONE eagle-eyed netizen has taken a jab at fugitive blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) for seemingly churning our unity government-friendly video clips of late – the last being the one posted on Friday (March 1) entitled “Kalau tak mahu Anwar nak siapa?” (literally “If not Anwar, who else do you want?”)

“Political prostitute Raja Petra seems to have changed his Qibla (the direction of the Ka`bah which is the direction of prayer for Muslims),” observed impartial netizen FreeMalaysian (@FreeMsian) on X (previously Twitter).

“The videos he released recently have begun to support Anwar (Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim). Perhaps he has yet to receive his dues from Muhyiddin (Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin) and PAS.”

Pelacur politik Raja Petra nampaknya dah tukar kiblat. Video2 yang dia keluar baru2 ini semuanya dah mula meyokong Anwar. Dah tak dapat bayaran dari Muhyiddin dan PAS lagi kot.

The post by FreeMalaysian has rallied presumably pro-Pakatan Harapan (PH) netizens to share their views on the mercenary blogger who is now on self-exile in Manchester, UK.

To state the obvious, the mistrust that the editor of news portal Malaysia Today has sowed over the years is too great to deserve a pardon with some netizens reckoning that RPK who fled to the UK in 2009 has something up his sleeve.

Some netizens challenged him to return home to clear his name while others opined that his back-and-forth political maneuvering is awful.

Interestingly, some netizens question if the Madani government – “out of desperation” – has indeed absorb the Surrey, England-born controversial blogger into its payroll. Obviously, such assumption cannot be ruled out for RPK “is famous for changing bosses”.

Or could this mean that “PAS is trying to build a bridge” with the Madani government as suggested by one netizen given that “RPK is a super hardcore PAS man”?

Whatever said and done, a netizen shared the fees to deploy Malaysian cybertroopers. – March 3, 2024
