- EU leaders will demand an "immediate humanitarian pause leading to a sustainable cease-fire" in Gaza and urge Israel not to launch a ground operation in Rafah, according to draft conclusions of a summit set for next week.
- PM Netanyahu is undermining Israel with his approach to the war in Gaza, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong said, adding that she urges Israel to change course or lose even more international support.
- The Hamas-controlled Health Ministry in Gaza said at least 31,184 Palestinians have been killed and 72,889 have been wounded since the start of the war.
■ LEBANON: The IDF said more than 100 rockets were fired from Lebanon Tuesday morning after Israel struck targets in Lebanon's Baalbek region late on Monday. Following the barrage, fighter jets struck Hezbollah targets near Baalbek, deep inside Lebanon, as well as Al-Khiam and Bint Jbail in southern Lebanon. There were further rocket launches in the Western Galilee later on Tuesday.
- A Hezbollah official told the Qatari newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadid that it "will not be silent about the Israeli attacks in any area of Lebanon, and the response to them will be the same and stronger," saying Hezbollah is "ready and prepared for any expansion of fighting."
- Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah hosted a delegation of Hamas leaders led by Yahia Sinwar's deputy Khalil al-Hayya in Beirut.
