KUALA LUMPUR, May 9 — Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said today said that she believes Pakatan Harapan (PH) is a more suitable partner for the reform agenda.

Drawing from her experience working with PH on the anti-party hopping law, she said that there are some shared agendas between her party Umno and the pact which she said has a better understanding of the concept of reform.

"I felt that personally, in my view, as the legal adviser for the party then, when we were communicating and talking about the coalition government, I personally felt that PH would be much better for reform," she said during a roundtable session held by electoral watchdog Bersih titled "Deepening Democracy in Malaysia: Making Coalition Government and Hung Parliament Work."

She did not divulge which party or coalition she was comparing PH to, simply mentioning "you know who lah” in reference to the entity which she described as "more conservative" than her Malay nationalist party Umno.
