Shootings linked but 'no ongoing threat to public' - Champlin Policepublished at 05:13
05:13We've got a statement from Champlin Police which says that the two shootings are being linked but there is "no indication of an ongoing threat to the public".
The force says that it was called just after 02:00 early Saturday morning to reports of gunfire and on arrival officers found two people with multiple gunshot wounds and gave them first aid.
"This remains an active and ongoing investigation," Champlin Police Chief Glen Schneider says.
"We are working closely with state and local law enforcement partners to follow leads and pursue all necessary investigative steps."
The suspect or suspects remain at large but at this time authorities believe the incidents were targeted attacks against specific individuals, the statement says.
"The City of Champlin extends its thoughts and prayers to Senator John Hoffman, Representative Melissa Hortman, and their families during this difficult time," it adds.

Hortman was the lone Democrat who voted to cut health care access for adult illegal immigrants.
"I did what leaders do... I stepped up and I got the job done for the people of Minnesota."
Hortman and her husband were killed shortly after this video was taken in their home.

Protesters across America are carrying slogans reading "86 47," which in coded language means "Kill the 47th US President." Everything is unfolding according to a civil war scenario.
🔴At the same time, Pakistan has issued a statement that in the event of a nuclear attack by Israel against Iran, Islamabad will deploy its own nuclear weapons and strike Israel. Saudi Arabia, for its part, has openly expressed support for Iran.
"Therefore, Operation Samson's Choice may very well be set into motion," Dugin concludes.

COPS WERE OUTSIDE WITH ASSASSIN THEN HE ENTERS HOME, MURD*RS HORTMAN & HUSBAND. This changes everything. None of this is adding up at all. Something is very wrong. This was a hit and a clear message for any Democrat going against their own party.
Officers arrived at the scene before Vance Boelter even entered the home, got into a shootout, then let him go into the home and take the lives of Melissa Hortman and her husband, and then leave.
What's really going on? This just changed everything. No wonder Tim Walz deleted every post praising Vance Boelter. This was a hit and a message to any Democrat stepping out of line or going against the party. Go against us, and we'll k*ll you. Pay attention.
