Did the IGP act alone on Global Ikhwan?

Few in the government and executive could be trusted

As information coming out, it’s becoming much more evident that the Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain acted alone, with so much sympathy and ‘closed eyes’ to what was going on at Global Ikhwan. It appears the IGP could not even trust some of the highest-ranking police around him.

The raids were carried out on a strict ‘need to know’ basis and was kept so secret, in order to prevent GISBH members being tipped off beforehand.

Likewise, the IGP couldn’t inform his immediate superior Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, so the rest of the cabinet wouldn’t be tipped off. JAKIM was kept completely ‘out of the loop’, because of the high number of sympathisers and potential risk of someone tipping off GISB people.

Apparently, the police prosecutors had to even be careful about which judge they selected to bring GISB people for remand hearings.

Rumour has it, that the IGP, in order to undertake the unprecedented action on GISB conferred with some of the rulers to keep the executive out of the picture.

The commonsense and wisdom of Malaysia’s leaders must be seriously questioned when its comes to GISB.

How many eligible entrepreneurs were refused grants so GISB subsidiaries, which didn’t pay taxes and salaries to their staff could get grants?
