Hadi: Jerusalem and Palestine belong to Muslims, God has forsaken the Jews!
JERUSALEM and Palestinian land belong to Muslims and the notion was proven by the Israk and Mikraj spiritual journey by Prophet Muhammad, said Special Envoy to the Middle East Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang.
“In fact, it was the first kiblat for Muslims before it was changed to Kaabah in Arabia. When Prophet Muhammad arrived in Jerusalem during the spiritual journey, he was invited to lead the congregational prayers among the spirits of past prophets at the al-Aqsa mosque.
“It was a sign that Islam is the religion of all the prophets,” Harakah Daily reported him as saying two days ago.
It is to note that Jerusalem is deemed sacred by all three main Semitic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Two years ago, then-US president Donald Trump signed a controversial executive order deeming the whole of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, much to the anger of Palestinian authorities who have long demanded East Jerusalem to be the capital of its proposed nation.
On that note, Hadi said that Palestine has direct links to Abraham, Moses and Prophet Muhammad; and is considered a holy land not only to the Semitic religions but also the heretics.
However, the PAS president stressed that Muslims have more rights on Palestinian land, claiming God has abandoned the Jews.
Sykes-Picot came into play
“The Jews were called upon by Moses to enter Palestine but they refused despite being saved by God Himself from the Pharaoh.
“In fact, suffering was brought upon the Jews and saved several times. They were given holy books but they keep deviating from the path until got driven away from the holy land and had to squat all across the world,” Hadi mentioned.
The Marang MP stated that despite once being conquered by European forces, Jerusalem came back under Islamic rule during the reign of Sultan Salahuddin al-Ayubi, or known in Europe as Saladdin.
He added that even when the Ottoman empire was at its decline, the caliph back then, Sultan Abdul Hamid rejected bribe by Zionist leader Theodor Herzl to surrender Jerusalem to the Jews.
“The Sultan chased Herzl away from his palace in Istanbul. However, the Sykes-Picot agreement later had divided the Ottoman empire to foreign powers, which led to the British getting Palestine.
“And Palestine was later given away to the Jews,” Hadi remarked. – March 5, 2022
