PETALING JAYA: Two people were killed and two others injured in a collision involving two lorries, at Km372.1 of the North-South Expressway (southbound) near Slim River, Perak, today.
Perak fire and rescue department assistant director (operations) Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said they were informed about the crash at about noon, Bernama reported.

Four people – a driver and three assistants – were in one of the lorries, transporting eggs, which crashed into the rear of a trailer lorry loaded with cement, parked by the road shoulder.

The other two, aged 40 and 30, sustained minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
