MMEA helicopter crashes near Pulau Angsa waters, four rescued by fishermen

KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 — A Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency’s (MMEA) helicopter crashed into the sea near Pulau Angsa, Selangor today.
Selangor Police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that the authorities received emergency calls from the public over the incident at around 10am today.
“Based on the initial information, there were four people on board the helicopter during the crash. All of them were saved by the local fishermen,” he said in a statement.
Hussein said that the Agustawestland Aw139 helicopter belonged to the MMEA.
