DAP's internal hidden hand

From Nan Yang Siang Pau (extracts):

The internal hidden hand is a deadly threat in politics

... when Lim Kit Siang announced to join forces with Mahathir, it really caught the Chinese community by surprise and it was totally unbelievable especially among the grass root members of DAP.

Although Lim Kit Siang stressed that he had formed an alliance with Mahathir to attack their common enemy in order to save the nation, many people did not buy his rationale. They opined that Mahathir was a diehard racist who would never change his racist colours. Likewise Muhyiddin would not shed off his mindset of Malay supremacy easily. Nevertheless a majority of the party members chose to remain silent.

The 509 general election is less than 3 weeks from now. How would Pakatan Harapan calm and diffuse the uneasiness with the Mahathir and Muhyiddin factor among the members is quite crucial; internal threat is more frightening than facing external threats. Internal threat in the party is deadly and all politicians know this taboo.

In short, has Lim Kit Siang gone too far in bulldozing his personal political agenda?

Is there a silent disquiet amongst DAP members, especially the older ones?

Don't blame them as for 49 years (nearly half a century) they recognise Mahathir as a diehard racist who would never change his racist colours, from days when he told the Chinese voters in Kotar Setar Selatan to f**k off with their Chinese votes as he didn't need them (and to his loss to PMIP's Yusof Rawa, which must have made Mahathir even more mad at Chinese) ...

... to his blunt cold treatment of and warning ("or else") to Dong Jiao Zong vis-a-vis the UEC when he was Education Minister, ...

... to Ops Lalang when he made the racist statement that (words to the effect) "Chinese coming together to meet at a Chinese temple is foreboding" ...

... and then went on to jailed 106 people of mostly Chinese (DAP) ethnicity (including his current best friend Lim Kit Siang), which he confessed in the 22 Oct 2017 copy of TMI that he did it to win the election (extracts): Dr Mahathir Mohamad will concede this: many of those detained [in Ops Lalang] were good people and he had demonised them to win elections.

"When I was in the government, I vilified them because I wanted to win the elections.
...

... to his treachery of promises made to Suqui in 2000, after they supported him in the 1999 GE based on his promise to fulfil the Chinese NGO's 17 point request, but calling Suqui as equivalent to the communists after he won the election ...

... to telling Najib off for pampering the Chinese who, he said, did not want to support BN ... and words like "the Chinese ruled Malaysia" ...

... to his present anti-China investments policy, etc etc etc.

Can the DAP members and supporters really accept the DAP's partnership with this anti-Chinese politician?

Can they trust Lim Kit Siang who has not consulted them of his intention to ally with Mahathir and who bulldozed his personal agenda through?

Can they accept that allying with Pribumi means having racist candidates among them including Pribumi candidate like former EC Commissioner Abdul Rashid who is also a VP of the ultra Malay fascist NGO? See my post Does Lim Kit Siang has guts to question credentials of a Pakatan candidate?.

former EC Commissioner Abdul Rashid is also a VP of PERKASA the ultra Malay fascist NGO
3 re-delineation exercises under my tenure were aimed at continuing Malay political dominance

he is now a candidate of Pakatan Harapan

  1. internal threat to do what? pls be specific... to disintegrate the dap or to deliberately create discontent to oust their own members... kt you are clever lad pls be specific don't just quote from others..

the answer to your " diehard racist who would never change " lies in the age of the man and the very person who will replace him...all your other concerns are merely noisy recycled historical events which will haunt the old man to his grave, is that not enough for you?

  2. Another round of that grandmother's broken record!

    Louder, please!

The Cinapeks recognise what mamak is. But they also practically agree that he IS that best person to trash pinklips' kleptomaniac malfeasances. Along the way mampuskan umno to the sand of time!

The Melayu ummun have slowly comes to their senses, with the exceptions of ketuanan freaks & zombies.

    Eat yr heart out!

Do come back after 509 & listen to the chants of I-told-u-so.

Dont forget to record it & pass it to yr mom sifu for night cap!

  3. Much like what #undirosak proponents are saying and thus hoping a wave of voters abstaining or spoiling their votes due to their apprehension or disgust at Mahathirism. And the voters who are supporters of #undirosak are thus judged to be:

    1. Chinese voters from DAP or MCA or Gerakan or PKR who are disgusted with racist TDM.
    2. Malay voters from PAS or PKR who are disgusted with TDM for injustice to AI.
    3. East Malaysians who hated TDM for the neglect and meddling in their rights as independent states.
    4. Indians and other minorities who see TDM not as a saviour of their communities.

But most have forgotten is that, it also includes:

    1. BN supporters who are disgusted with the kleptocratic Ajib but still believe in their parties objectives.
    2. Religious supporters esp rural Malays and Moslems who hates Ajib who they believe is stealing, lying, plundering, cheating etc which is disgusting to their believes and culture.
    3. Workers of Federal and State Governments and other statutories bodies, Armed Forces and Police, GLCs, etc who find their Head of Govt unacceptable and tarnishing their pride, responsibilities, ethics etc.
    4. East Malaysians who sees no changes to their rights whether it is TDM or Ajib.
    5. Circumstancial Ignorant voters who start leaving as they see it as a non-profitable way of making decisions.

Now, tell me as the days passes, which group of voters will populate more and more as #undirosak supporters?

As to the age group of young voters who are proponents of #undirosak, I can only say what is Mahathirism history does not really impact them cos they only wants to see the current situation, who are believable now and when they have the time, leave to go and vote their icons of truth, justice and democracy ideals.

Now as regards the internal threats, it ain't going to happen cos A General proven in battle would always command the loyalty of it's soldiers and die with him even if he made a wrong decision cos everyone knows "He has decided for the good of the Emperor, Nation and Citizens in a not perfect nation."

    2. In 1999, Chinese supported BN due to Suqui demands being agreed to by The Black Cobra.

Why main tembak and using slurs?

You don't read and think because of emotional anger at anything which sounds or smells of anti-PH.

Can only be a Bugler or Dead Body carriers in battle. Definitely not warriors type.

    3. P/S. It would not be surprising that the majority of #undirosak supporters will end up eventually to be hardcore BN supporters, rural folks, religious bigots and Govt. employees who are disillusioned with their General.

    7. "i notice many chinese r fine with Mahathir"

That is actually the truth, as far as ordinary people are concerned...including today.
Its mainly Batu Api types who have an in-built agenda who are jumping up and down opposing Mahathir's cooperation with PR.
