De fact and De ceit about 'De facto'

MM Online - Dr M: Anwar’s name not submitted to RoS (in full):

the euphoria of 'happier' times or just 'happy' times

wakakaka

PUTRAJAYA, July 28 ― Pakatan Harapan (PH) did not submit Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's name to the Registrar of Societies (RoS), Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today.

The Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) chairman explained that in the forms submitted to the RoS, the designation of de facto leader exists but no one was named ― the same as all other positions ― in the PH leadership list.

“When we submit the constitution, we don't give the names on who holds the post. We don't put the name but the position is there,” Dr Mahathir said.

The former prime minister added that so far there has been no objection from the RoS on the position of de facto leader in the coalition.

Currently incarcerated Anwar was named as de facto leader of PH alongside his wife and Opposition leader, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the coalition's president and Dr Mahathir as chairman.

According to the RoS constitution, a jailed politician cannot hold any official positions in a party or partake actively in politics.

This is funny and extremely bullshit-ish, wakakaka.

No, it's NOT about Anwar Ibrahim being the de facto leader of Pakatan Harapan (PH) but not being named in the PH Constitution that has been submitted to RoS.

As just mentioned in above MM Online news article, a jailed politician cannot hold any official positions in a party or partake actively in politics, and thus we accept that Anwar cannot and has not been named in the PH Constitution.

Before I explain why I find the PH Constitution funny and extremely bullshit-ish, wakakaka again, let's see what the term 'de facto' means.

The dictionary defines 'de facto' as:

adverb, adjective

1. in fact; in reality:

eg. Although his title was prime minister, he was de facto Imperial Emperor of the country. Although the university was said to be open to all qualified students, it still practised de facto discrimination.

2. actually existing, especially when without lawful authority (distinguished from de jure).

eg. Dr Wan Azizah is de jure President of PKR but Anwar Ibrahim is the de facto leader of the party

Wikipedia tell us:

De facto (/deɪ ˈfæktoʊ/), Latin for "in fact", describes practices that exist in reality, even if not legally authorized.

It is commonly used to refer to what happens in practice, in contrast with de jure ("in law"), which refers to things that happen according to law.

When Pakatan Harapan submits its coalition Constitution to RoS, what, why and indeed how the hell did it refer to a party position as 'de facto'. which is one that exists without lawful authority?

There should be no such thing as a 'de facto' (not legal) position in a properly registered organisation, because the very term 'de facto' means that position exists without lawful authority.

How can a party constitution have illegals in it?

And another funny bullsh*t is Mahathir saying that so far there has been no objection from the RoS on the position of de facto leader in the coalition.

Either Mahathir or RoS or both have been bullsh*tting BIG TIME, wakakaka.

    2. In law and government, de jure ("in law") describes practices that are legally recognized by official laws. In contrast, de facto ("in fact" or "in practice") describes situations that are generally known to exist in reality, even if not legally authorized.

But many a times, de jure = de facto mah. Ain't that's the real situation in bolihland wrt the fantasied supremacy of the ketuanan freaks, zombies & blur-sotongs?
