It's a terrible start to a new year where some lost their homes and many have been temporarily displaced. I hope Malaysians will once again rise to the occasion to help fellow Malaysians in their moment of dire needs.
But in the words of Nik Abduh Nik Aziz, Allah swt must be angry, and by humbly tracing possible causes for His Almighty's wrath, I believe Pak Haji Hadi Awang in large part has to answer for it.
In Pak Hai's burning desire to increase flogging from an already painful 6 strokes to the horrid 100 lashes, thus not emulating the true compassion exemplified by the examples in the teachings of Allah swt, he has annoyed The One Above.
All the above reasoning has been in accordance with the logic of Nik Abduh Nik Aziz.
