Malaysian reign of terror?

Former journalist Sidek Kamiso was arrested by police in the wee Gestapo hours of the morning in PJ without any arrest warrant but was taken by the uniformed thugs to Johor Baru (why PJ to JB?) to be remanded, but later a court refused police the right to remand him. The Star Online reported:

Sidek’s wife, Norlin Wan Musa, on her Facebook, posted an account of how two plainclothes policemen had jumped over the gates of the house and banged on the door demanding entry at 4.40am.

He said the two could not produce an arrest warrant despite Sidek’s repeated request.

“One guy showed my husband his police ID card. But the guy put it away as soon as I approached him.

“They came in and took his phone, went upstairs to our bedroom to look around and later insisted on going into my kids’ room.

“I refused to let them in and told them I will not allow them to intimidate my children.”

Norlin said before taking her husband away, they took his laptop and her husband’s photo, which was in the bedroom.

She said it was appalling that anyone could just come in and intimidate someone without an arrest warrant, in the safety of his/her home and take someone away.

This morning, Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar had said three individuals were arrested for insulting Islam after Haron’s death.

Khalid, however, refused to reveal their identities during the press conference.

Sidek is among a trio arrested for posting tweets and FB pages on the death of Haron Din, while we are fully aware that DAP's Jeff Ooi has been called in by the police (so said the IGP in a threatening manner) for SS interrogation questioning.

Far earlier, on 22 May 2014, DAP's RSN Rayer was charged for sedition in using the word 'celaka'. Yes, SEDITION for using the kampong word of 'celaka' (damn) which my late mum used regularly when she drew a lousy mahjong tile during a game.

But in April this year the court dismissed those moronic charges against Rayer kau kau. What a bloody waste of police time while a sweet young innocent Indian girl was chopped to her death in Selangor and thugs run amok in various parts of our country.

And quite frankly I don't believe the IGP when he said the police is investigating Ali Tinju for threatening Maria Chin Abdullah with her life. Bullshit!

Similarly all the current police bullshit about arresting people over tweets and FB comments on Haron Din's death could and should be considered a monumental waste of taxpayers money, but then the police answer to the UMNO-led government, who now wants the police to harass Jeff, probably to demon-ize the DAP in Malay eyes.

Looks like the UMNO campaign for GE-14 has started.
