I will buy a kilo fresh sardines at pasar tani and also a kilo of siput sedut (belitung). Like KT, I will deep fry the sardines (crispy) and eat it when it is still panas with sambal belacan too; masak lemak chili api the siput sedut ( a lot of collagen), good for the skin and bones - my late mum said 'awet muda'.
