Azmin Ali prefers PAS to Chinese support?

The Malaysian Insight - PKR could gain PAS but lose friends and allies, warns analyst:

The Selangor government think tank, Institut Darul Ehsan said that: “The IDE study found that only 1% of Chinese in Selangor would support PAS. If their anger at PAS is transferred to PKR for cooperating with it, PKR is finished in Selangor.”

Unfortunately, PKR still insists on allying itself with PAS who has just rejected them, though it's suspected some in PAS might want some form of association with Pakatan, principally for the Chinese votes which come along with DAP's friendship, superficial and false as the 'friendship' might have been.

There is unlikely to be anymore Chinese support for PAS but Institut Darul Ehsan fears the 'dislike' virus may spread across to a slutting PKR, wakakaka, which may see the demise or near decimation of the so-called Reformasi Party in Selangor.

And we haven't even factored in PKR's internal fractional tussle yet.

Ilham Centre executive director Hisomuddin Bakar said that ... PKR risked alienating Chinese voters if it continued to pursue political cooperation with the Islamist party.

He warned: “There is a big possibility that Chinese voters will abandon PKR if it patches things up with PAS. Just a 20% swing in the Chinese vote will cause PKR to lose all its seats in Selangor.”

Hisomuddin reminded PKR that in GE-13 in 2013, PKR had benefited from 80% of the Chinese vote while PAS, 60%, but obviously the latter is gone.

PKR’s continued slutting with PAS has deeply disappointed its Pakatan allies because any compromise with PAS will adversely affect Amanah and Pribumi.

But let's face it, Azmin Ali is now fighting for the survival of PKR, at least in Selangor if not elsewhere and he for some reasons believe an alliance with PAS even at the expense of Chinese support is the answer. Maybe he has taken Chinese support for his party too much for granted.

But it's also mentioned that the reformist fraction in PKR may yet revolt at the thought of working with Mahathir whom they detest with all their might.

Hisomuddin also warned that ... Such a scenario could see Amanah and Bersatu revolt and place their candidates to run against PAS, even if PKR had promised those seats to PAS.

Apparently, Azmin's dalliances with some PAS leaders are all very hush hush which further annoys other Pakatan leaders.

Poor Azmin is caught between the Devil in PAS and the Deep Blue Sea in Chinese support.

Bloody Chinese again ... ooopsy ... I am one too, wakakaka.

  1. the one that shd worry abt chinese vote is dap, bec their contender is mca or gerakan, some chinese was never dap supporter n might ditch dap tis round, however most would not pick umno or pas n thats for sure so azmin main concern is malay vote. i think ph strategy is to win the heart of pas supporters, or sympathy. i think malay politisc is very diff with dap, who always wan to win at every argument or trivial mattets. by observing lge response on the illegal facory case, indicate that either the people n brain surround him r equally stupid, or no one wan to educate n give advice to tis arrogant, immature cum autocratic boy.

  4. Azmin is stupid,if he thinks that PAS can help him or his PKR.If anyone can make the opposition pact works,it is Mahathir.Mahathir still commands more respect from the Malays, than Anwar and Azmin combined together. That is the reason that Warthamoorthy is cozying up to Mahathir.Aneh can help flip back the marginal seats he help Umno/BN win in GE13 to the opposition.

The dwarf was never smart and will never be smart as a political leader. That was the reason Khalid was appointed MB instead of him.Azmin got appointed by default because Kajang satay burnt Anwar badly in the ass.But things might change if he keeps sucking PAS politicians dicks.

  6. And the malay will all vote The Daps and their proxies...dun believe ur own propa. If Dap cannot learn to coexist or continue to act like they know better abt Malay...Dap and Pas will continue to play 2nd fiddle to BN...Dap might get to keep Penang or just a strong oppos like in Melaka in 80s while Pas get to keep Kelantan and rule Terengganu once in a while. Remove Lim and rebuild PR with more honesty.
