ABU? Where are you?

Free Malaysia Today - Lajim’s new gambit rattling Sabah PKR (extracts):

... Bumburing and Lajim’s unusual terms of “joining” PKR without becoming actual PKR members have raised the question of their real commitment to PKR.

Their choice to just affiliate themselves and “borrow” the PKR ticket when the time comes for them to contest in the 13th general election, has made their sincerity questionable.

And both have allegedly been promised substantial number of seats (rumoured to be around 17 seats each).

PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim, on his part, is delightedly lapping up the media hype, acting like he scored two important goals in his fight with Barisan Nasional.

Anwar, the perennial opportunist, can sense making political mileage out of it.

The duo had left the BN and invited him to witness their official public declarations, so why not take the golden opportunity to bask in the publicity?

And although deep inside he wished the duo had actually joined PKR, they did not and have not todate.

It is a smart move on Lajim and Bumburing’s part.

And a stupid selfish slimy frogological move by Anwar Ibrahim, King of Deformasi, just to satisfy his obsessive prime ministerial ambition which betrays PKR Sabah.

But anyway, detected, UMNO genes above!

C'mon now, let's ABU ler!

  1. As usual, living up to his name.

All hail the stupid one, ktemoc !!!!

Frogology as usual all blame on DSAI.

Go ask your step brother Najis Razak to pass a law to ban frogs lar. Os is Najis Razak just keeping his passport open in case Barisan Najis really loses PRU 13.

ktemoc the stupid as usual only can see wrong in the judges but not who appoints the judges.

The stupid one blames the PDRM but again omits to point out who appoints all the top guns in PDRM.

And here, blames frogology but fails to point out who has the real power to pass a law to ban frogology but pointedly refuses to do so.

As usual, myopic view blaming the symptom instead of focusing on the real disease causing all of the symptoms

    stupid.

Reject six types of political practices

PORT KLANG: Umno Information Chief Datuk Ahmad Maslan today urged the people to reject what he termed as six types of political practices of the opposition.

He said these were the politics of rudeness, politics of liberty, politics of libel, politics of punishment, politics of disunity and politics of violence.

An example of the politics of rudeness was the stomping on pictures of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and the intention to change the national flag with another, he told a news conference after opening the Klang Umno Division delegates meeting, here.

The politics of liberty referred to the support for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) activities which was contrary to Islamic teachings, he said.

Ahmad said the politics of libel was evident from the slander hurled at Najib and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

He cited the incidents of two imams in one mosque and branding of one another as infidels among Muslims as politics of punishment.

The politics of disunity involved attempts to keep Malays, Chinese and Indians apart as well as people within each of the communities, he said.

He referred to the actions of people who sparked riots during the Bersih 3.0 gathering as an example of the politics of violence.

Ahmad said the Barisan Nasional (BN) was opposed to these six types of political practices. Bernama

  4. Sabah politics, especially Sabahan native politics is wild, wooly and corrupt. And that has little to do, per se, with Anwar Ibrahim. It would still be wild, wooly and corrupt without Anwar in the picture.
I would not by any stretch of the imagination, ever consider Bumburing and Lajim as democrats or reformists. They are just rotten opportunists who have seen the writing on the wall for BN, and are cutting the best deal they can ahead of the elections.

Anwar faces an intractable problem in Sabah. PKR's organic base there is very small. The other ostensible Opposition leaders are all putrid operators, ranging from Kitingan, Yong, to the UMNO or not-UMNO Bumburings and Lajims.
Regardless, Anwar has a need to work out some level of negotiations and, maybe, agreement with this nest of vipers.

BN is NOT going to get a free run in Sabah, even if a BN win there is a foregone conclusion.
Yes, Anwar Ibrahim is obsessed with the vast and very necessary campaign to remove BN from its tenancy of the Federal Government.

But I strongly disagree with your views ascribing that to just selfish pursuit of personal gain by Anwar.

  6. The stratagem by Bumburing and Lajim is so transparently obvious I'm surprised Anwar has not picked it up, or maybe he did, but doesn't have much of a choice but to work with them.
They intend to stand in GE13 under a borrowed PKR flag, but have openly declared that they are not in PKR or they are "Independent".

Remember the arrangement Ibrahim Ali had with PAS for GE12 ? I'm sure PAS has regretted it every moment after that.

If in the aftermath of GE13, there is only a thin majority in Parliament - which right now looks like a likely outcome, one way or the other, such "Non-Aligned Independents" will be Very valuable Merchandise indeed, available to the highest bidder.
