Betrayed first, then deceives

Malaysiakini'Act on opposition leaders who disrespect Malay rulers'

Hmmm, as I wrote in my post Resurrection of Communism, by UMNO? last year:

UMNO’s clarion call used to be ‘agama, bangsa dan Negara’. It has used this to arouse patriotic rallying to its banner.

Then at some stage, it decided to add ‘raja’ and kicked ‘Negara’ out.

‘Raja’ to Malays is a far more emotional word than ‘Negara’, inspiring fealty and readiness to defend their liege lord a la Hang Tuah against the Hang Jebats, which today are mainly party members of PAS, and their Chinese-Indian allies in DAP.

It’s also easier to accuse the nons, especially Chinese, of being biadap to the rulers.

Never mind that on 10 December 1992, Dr Affifuddin Omar, an UMNO man from Padang Terap, no doubt given the imprimatur by his party leaders, asked in Parliament:

"How can we continue to uphold rulers who are known to be robbers, adulterers, drunkards and kaki pukul (thugs)?" [...]

"They (the rulers) must be made to realize that they do not own this country. They are not Superman but placed on their thrones by the people. "The real power did not lie with them, but with us - the representatives of the people."

Which ‘non’ could have said that and got away? None! Only UMNO and UMNO alone could have gotten away with its abuse of the raja whom they claim to defend today.

Francis Bacon once said: “The zeal which begins with hypocrisy must conclude in treachery; at first it deceives, at last it betrays”, but obviously Boleh-UMNO has innovatively done it the other way around, that was, betrayed first then deceived.

  1. There are many traditional Malays for whom the institution of the Malay Rulers is a profound and integral part of their sense of nationhood. It has nothing to do with UMNO, PAS or PKR.

I found that it is very difficult for the Chinese of immigrant descent to understand that, no matter how they strongly they claim to be Malaysians first.
And easy for them to behave in ways which can be perceived as very disrespectful and offensive by Malays.

Many Malays, for example, regardless of their political leanings found the DAP Assemblymen's past antics refusing to wear the songkok in the presence of the Malay Rulers as "Biadab".

It took the DAP's ascendance to power in several states with Malay rulers to mitigate that policy.
It obviously wouldn't do to unnecessarily offend the Sultan if DAP was to play an effective executive role in His Majesty's government.

The Malay's attachment to the Rulers should not be construed as a symptom of feudal backwardness.

Britain, the world's Seventh Largest economy, hardly a backward country, still has a large proportion of its population who have a deep regard for their Monarchy.

  2. What kind of half past 6 analysis is the above ?

The point is really this. When it suits them, UMNO f**ks around with the dim wit Royalties as though they r backyard criminals, using Utusan their asshole mouthpiece to suit them.

Then when they feel like it, now UMNO seems like the greatest defenders of the Royalty.

What a bunch of corrupt backstabbers in UMNO man!

    Those Royalties deserve UMNO.

  4. Dear Tanah Melayu :
Unfortunately, Malays written history are just too shallow and short. What you claims that "yadda-yadda other ethnics doesn't understand this and that", make me smirk...
... Ok, honestly, you make me laugh.

When archaeologist still puzzling on gathering written history on South east asia, China Han historian Sima Qian(ca. 145 or 135 BC – 86 BC) , already compile a history records name “Shi Ji" ( Records of the Grand Historian) . 520 thousands word(in chinese character) with compilation of 100 overs kingdom changeover, ugly face of many rulers, various administrators act and articles, even some economy information.

Anyone can google and dig from the internet to read that, there is a Gutenberg version as well.

A well literate Chinese know too well about what beneath the carpet of all these "tribal rulers".

  5. Tanah Melayu doesn't want the Chinese to vote for PKR or even the DAP as he said..."to the urban Chinese, remember, a vote for the DAP is a vote for PKR and Anwar Ibrahim, and all the negatives which he represents."

Why would the Chinese want to listen to this Tanah Melayu's 'advice'? At every opportunity he gets, he will unfailingly bash the Chinese...it would seemed to him everything about the Chinese just rubs him the wrong way and he must have wished this whole ethnic group would just go away from HIS tanah melayu as his nick apparently claimed this land belonged only to the malay race.

Is he here to speak up for his Ketuanan UMNO party ? If it is, then he's on the losing end....there's too much dirt there that even Hercules would fail miserably, much less for Tanah Melayu.

Is he here to 'advise' the Chinese to vote wisely, otherwise, as he said... " the Chinese are going to end up being sodomised by this charlattan."

Yeah, right....the Chinese will listen to him..NOT ! Even the neutral Chinese will jump to the opposite side just to spite him if for no other reason at all. As though being sodomised by UMNO for decades is not enough, the Chinese will still want to listen to this racist Tanah Melayu who continues to bash the Chinese and yet in the same breath advising the Chinese to be aware of charlattans. Hahaha...so rich !

( Sorry KT....this comment is not about UMNO's hypocritical stand re the raja-raja. But we all know UMNO will even sell their own mother to benefit themselves, what more those royalty. If tomorrow it is promised that UMNO will rule forever and have unlimited power to control and plunder if they turn the country into a republic, they would ditch the raja2 pronto without batting an eyelid ).

Oh my, Kaytee, that's impressive! That you dug that nugget up. Just curious - do you keep a collection of news clippings or do you have a research assistant to dig up stuff like that for you?

Spot on, Moot ! That condescending ignoramus with his 'Queen's English' most likely doesn't even know his own roots, and even if he has some vague inkling, the denial mode will kick in.

Other ethnics doesn't understand ? Is he referring to the Chinese and Indians ? Like how his beloved Dr M had also condescendingly and sneeringly swiped the Chinese about the '5000 years of the Chinese civilisation' ? Most times, inferior complex gives rise to superiority complex. Haha...the Supreme race Melayu.

  12. As you can see, this Tanah Melayu clown with his boastful so-called Queen's English is always the first to comment on any subject here. You so free meh??? He must be jobless and only surviving as a paid commentator just to spew shits here in the hope that his comments may influence some of us to support BN in the coming GE. Keep on trying...you will only be fucked from left and right.

  13. Moot,
    China is China
    Malaya is Tanah Melayu.
Which country are you a citizen of ?

People like you who no doubt have read through the entire volumes of Chinese classics like The 3 Kingdoms, Water Margin and The Western Journey know Zero about the history of Nusantara and have no interest at all.

Are you Malaysian first or Malaysia last? Be honest with yourself.

  17. This balless man deserves all the uncomplimentary remarks thrown at him simply because he is so useless, vile and rude. He fashioned himself to be fearless, patriotic and rich but all these are facade of a person with deep inferiority complex. In real life, I wondered whether he can get on well with his family, friends and neighbours? Hence he needs to spend his loneliness on the computer spewing his garbages at other's blog making a fool of himself and the political parties that he supported.

Why is it that he couldn't wake up, having been banned and chased away from blogs? An undignified old man who claimed to be what he wasn't needs medical helps and counselings. Why masquerade as others to comment and to support own's comment when the comments posted are nonsensical and full of filth.

Why be a monster when a normal and simple life beholds?
