RoS makes PAS' dreams come true?

UMNO so fears DAP that it has, as anticipated, resorted to using RoS to de-legitimize DAP CEC, the authority for issuing letters of authority for its candidates to show the EC.

Ceterum censeo DAP delendam esse
[Furthermore, I consider that DAP must be destroyed]

with apologies to Cato the Elder ((234-149 BC)

Lim GE has rightly refused to believe EC Chairperson's verbal and indirect (via the press) assurance that DAP candidates could use the party's logo.

One shouldn't be surprised if on the day (20 April 2013) when DAP candidates submit their election applications,  the EC will turn around and say their application papers won't be accepted because of an illegally issued letter of authority to use the DAP party logo.

Now, wouldn't that be just dandy for BN which will automatically win 'unopposed' in around 150 to 160 parliamentary and state seats.

Unless the DAP receives a written letter from the EC that it will accept DAP issued letters of authority for the party's candidates to use the party logo, Subky Abdul Latif's wet dreams will come true.

Subky in his column in TMI titled Bilakah DAP akan diharamkan on 02 April 2013 anticipated the need for DAP to resort to the PAS logo because of RoS inevitable sabotaging action. He wrote:

Sebagaimana semua menunggu bila Parlimen hendak dibubarkan, maka semuanya menunggu bila pula DAP hendak diharamkan?

As Subky said, we all knew then and were only waiting for RoS' predictable action.

A man I once respected and adored was made the UMNO-MCA vanguard to incite action against DAP. 'Nuff said for this man broke my heart.

Continuing Subky's article:

DAP and PAS prepare in collaboration in anticipation of UMNO's underhanded tactic, for DAP candidates to stand as PAS candidates.

It'll of course endowed PAS with the strategic benefit of non-Muslim voters getting used to and not fearing the Moon. OTOH, MCA may benefit from pointing fingers and saying "We told you so, that DAP have sold us Chinese down the Tigris-Euphrates rivers."

Soalnya sekarang bila RoS hendak mengharamkan DAP? Jika RoS sebuah agensi yang tegas dalam serba serbi, maka ia mesti haramkan DAP dengan segera sekurang-kurangnya sebelum hari penamaan calon.

But of course that was too much to expect, an UMNO owned RoS giving DAP adequate time to respond to an already decided non-recognition of the DAP party's CEC and the consequential and questionable legality of  DAP CEC issuing the required letters of authority to DAP candidates to use the DAP party logo. The aim of RoS as an apparatus of UMNO has been to disrupt DAP's election process, and thus it does so by giving DAP only 2 days notice.

PAS sekarang dipercayai menunggu. Ia tidak mendoakan supaya DAP diharamkan, tetapi kalau diharamkan, maka ia satu cabaran yang menarik bagi menguji kematangan politik Pakatan Rakyat dalam suasana baru politik Malaysia sekarang.

As I said, apart from collaborating with DAP and PKR to win the elections and form the next Malaysian government  there will be strategic benefit for PAS, because non-Muslim voters in voting for DAP under the PAS banner, will get use to and not fear the Moon symbol.

So on so forth ... as discussed above, there'll be mutual benefits in this collaboration.

Mereka sama-sama berani.

And not only did Lim KS's explosive announcement, for DAP candidates to resort to the PAS banner if RoS plays f**k, shake and fluster UMNO and MCA, it sent waves of orgasms wakakaka among PAS supporters like Subky Abdul Latif ... for he then concluded:

Wakakaka for Bhai!

Won't that be orgasmic for PAS supporters? wakakaka

Gelang Patah?

Holey moley!

The  credit goes to UMNO's RoS

Pak Haji Nik Aziz: “Be confident that this historic decision will be remembered throughout the ages. This is the moment when the
rocket lands on the moon”

As a German might have said: Ve hav ze dream unz ze dream hav komm zrue (wakakaka)

  2. malays have had a couple of hundred years of palace intrigue to hone their skills at coming up with schemes like this........this time bn might have been too clever for their own good and would have handed the country to pas with their cleverness!

  4. I shed no tears for DAP's leadership.

The ROS action is a lawful outcome of the Democratic Action Party's undemocratic and non-transparent CEC election process. It lead to numerous protests and objections from DAP's own members, myself included, ultimately reporting the matter to the police and the ROS.

Given the widespread dissatisfaction from DAP's own members on the CEC election results, ROS action was necessary and according to the law.

DAP must understand their predicament is a self-inflicted injury, possibly fatal for GE13.

    2. Really DAP Chemor? What is not transparent to me is the unsubstantiated claims by opportunists disloyal to the true mission of the party. It is your dissatisfaction that is self-inflicted.

  5. Well KTee, as DAP Chemor points out, this crisis was brought on by the leadership by not calling for a fresh election... maybe they scared by fresh round of voting. Some sweeties may not even make the list... wakakaka..

But can't blame ROS... all is fair in love & war.

However, can the game be played out in two scenarios... one, it favors the underdog and persecuted or when we paint the town green, does that legally mean that PAS holds the seat rather than the candidate in a win? Wakakaka... Royally screwed by tokong.

    1. yes, PAS will be credited with the wins of PAS itself and a DAP standing under PAS, which theoretically means the Pakatan PM will rightfully be a PAS choice

    2. Fully agree. That means PAS will have more seats than PKR,and so the PM will be a PAS guy. There goes Anwar's dream. Btw, can't DAP stand using PKR logo?

    4. KTee, nice touches on additional photos and subtitles. Definetly ROS will make some sort of impact (positive) for DAP-PAS pernikahan but before they can finish the kenduri, hope what "12345" or "ABC" put together, let no man put asunder...

And for Anon, no PKR logo. Although Chinese like pirate DVD, cannot touch DVD not tapis by Filem Negara... wakakaka... Perception, perception...

  6. When PKR, PAS & DAP Aduns went independent, it was never challenged whether the seat belong to the party or the candidate. We "assumed" that the seat followed the candidate.

Under filing (which is tick tock, tick tock), all DAP candidates will file under PAS. Therefore, if somewhere down the line, DAP wants to re-instate the DAP flag and PAS objects enblock.. meaning this isn't just one or two seats but PAS challenges DAP in court... wakakaka.. just on public image, it will be one day in court. Never know when Bhai starts thinking about over his dead body again.

However, we were only talking about LKS wearing green.. so maverick but now painting the whole town green.... the whole brand awareness of DAP thrown in the clogs... maybe the Lynas tees seem to come in handy now... wakakaka...

It looks like Najib investment in those marketing & strategic con-sultants finally paid off - with a stroke of a pen... and of course giving tokong enough rope to hang himself. His own self-confidence (ahem, arrogance) outdid itself...

    Being naughty on nomination day....

  7. I donot think so. Once in Parliament, the DAP Mps will sit as bloc and together with PKR (and of course PAS), they will decide who will lead Pakatan. That person could possibly be Anwar. Most people in PAS are people of honour and PAS has not displayed any anti-DAP sentiments. It is only UMNO that is scared shitless of DAP and especially Lim Kit Siang and Karpal Singh.

But they will seek out the latter if BN loses and they are facing a serious charge (i.e. if they are wise). That might even include this so-called "DAP Chemor" person.

  8. Some possible scenarios & effects when DAP candidates contest under PAS logo:
    1) BN will scare the Chinese voters by raising spectre of Islamic state if there are numerous PAS seats won by DAP candidates.
    2) UMNO will scare the Malay voters by saying that PAS is contaminated by nons, some of whom are Christians.
    3) There will be some sympathy votes as DAP potrays itself of being unfairly victimised.

    1. Bingo!! While there maybe a mini-consitutional crisis if PR wins between its members but you are correct in #1 & #2. Reading BN spinning wheel, Aku Cina has already started on your points. That is why 2 weeks is crucial, it takes time to spin... wakakakaka...

And if DAP chooses independent logos, it looses impact in terms of branding but also some naughty independents will "ciup" the logo first. So DAP is between the devil & .... win some sympathy votes and even maybe bumi votes but Bhai better get ready his body... wakakaka

And if DAP doesn't respond to ROS after GE13, maybe DAP Baru. Then the rocket may not even reach the moon... Here is to you KTee, for your weekend renungan.

    2. Aren't most DAP seats in the urban areas ? Are the urbanites, whether malays, chinese, indians dan lain2, all internet savvy ? So by now, all those in urban areas would know about Umno's underhand tactics getting its running doggie ROS to do its bidding.......

So in this case, only your nbr 3 point will actually apply..... getting NOT some but plenty sympathy votes for DAP who had no choice but to stand under PAS ticket.

Just watch lah......there is such a phrase....."Too Clever By Half"......and just because they thought they won the day in Perak once , they thought this tactic will wipe out DAP too........we are all just waiting with glee for this huge backfiring to explode back onto the puppet master himself.

  10. If DAP uses PAS logo, what would become of the theme of "racist-DAP-challenging-the-UMNO-Malays" being peddled by DrM ...? He may modify it into "racist-DAP-subterfuging-PAS-Malays"?

After the elections, if there is a hung parliament, would there be a damper to the secret unity talks between UMNO & PAS from the likes of Nasharuddin, as there will be many non-Muslim PAS MPs ...?

  15. The DAP knew this was coming but did little to clean uo the CEC act. In thus manner it only hss itself to blame. I have no qualms for DAP to contest under PAS or PKR banners. I will still vote for them.

It is not entirely clear whether this obvious disadvantage for DAP might turn into a routing for the party's candidates. In fact we all know this can become an massive advantage for the affected DAP guys.

The final outcome of who would be PM or as it might be Opposition Leader is not as important. Whether he be a PAS man or PKR man is a matter for subsequent discussion.

The Husam thing about this being true unity is applaudable and the effect if it might indeed be positively massive. We shall pray - of course.

  16. In scores of rural seats througout West Malaysia, where PAS is contesting vs. UMNO, there are often at least a few thousand Chinese voters, and their votes are an important factor in GE13.
If PAS gets 70-80% of these Chinese votes, there will likely be a very significant swing in the Rural seats.

The GE13 election codeword to these rural Chinese is "The Moon Represents My Heart". The VCD/DVD is being widely played in small town kopitiams and eateries.

  17. Hi KT,

Since you are a DAP supporter, i would like to know what you think of the complaints by DAP's supporter with regards to the CEC election results.

Seems like there is a shift of focus to the ROS. The real problem is of course,

    1. The complaints on the election results (700++ complaints? is this correct?).
    2. The fact that even after the announcement, the results were said to have a typo resulting to the rise of a person that had a very close relationship to the secretary general.

Feel free to correct me if i have perceived the above wrongly.

If most of the above is correct, see below:-

    1. Have DAP approached the complaints and tried to resolve it? As a party that champions transparency, i would expect that a meet up between the complainers and the party's leaders to be arranged to discuss on a solution. The solution should then be made public, to show that this type of proper handling of issues will be reflected should they become the Government after the election.

    2. Two (2) out three (3) major parties in Pakatan Rakyat have now been seen as mismanaging their Party's election. These elections are conducted by their machinery, no involvement from SPR or the evil- BN.
Will similar incidents be expected to happen if Pakatan wins GE13? Are there procedures developed to avoid it from happening again?

Or do you expect that will we finally see transparency after Pakatan Rakyat becomes government even if currently they do not appear too transparent in their mishandling of such important events (Party election) within the Party?

We all know Barisan Nasional is corrupted, but for a fence sitter like me, how do you suppose the above questions be answered to swing my vote to your side of the political divide?

    1. There was a calculation error due to (I believe) spreadsheet problems. The error was submitted to an independent (non-DAP) audit and the findings submitted to RoS.

In every party there would usually be complaints by its members about something but did/do those complaints stand up to scrutiny or have they been answered. For example, the complaints about PKR party process have yet to be answered but since then, most of the complainants had left the party in disgust.

Hope the above answers all your questions.
