You would be surprised...a lot of women who get married , have children and stay wedded to a man their whole life, actually have closet Lesbian tendencies.
More than one woman ever confessed to me that they had kissed another girl before and got really aroused.
The kind of girl-to-girl bonding you commonly see often has a sexual element beneath the surface, even if they are unconscious of it.
You would be surprised...a lot of men who get married, have children and stay wedded to a woman their whole life, actually have closet homosexual tendencies.
More than one man confessed to me that they regularly cruised for gay pick-ups even though they are happily married to their wife and love their children.
The kind of male-to-male bonding that you see in sports and boisterous drinking sessions in pubs has a strong element of homosexual attraction barely beneath the surface.
what a nostalgic post. i still have a stack of southern screen magazines from the 60s-70s, like that last picture of lily ho on its cover. bought them for 50 cents at the lido cinema in johor baru.
interestig read. there is no free broadcast of movie at the padang in penang like what we have during cny n mid autumn? our idol is david chiang, most that u cited seem slightly earlier, perhaps btw 1965 to 1974 era.
i were one time stay in kuala woh, perak, next to jungle n semai, we can either watch movie at neb (now tnb) quarter or at tapah town where cinema got 2 floors one, like what u say, just after 15 minutes all kids move their ass to upstairs, enjoy first class seating with second class ticket, sort of uphold of nep spirit i think wakaka.
when celestial remastered these movies, i went all over town looking for them. there was one in kota raya complex. bought most of them but upon watching these movies, i realised how dated they were. my all-time favourite was (still is) the winged tiger, and not just because of angela yu chien..if you know what i mean. nowadays you can watch full versions in youtube, minus the subs.

Deleteactually David Chiang (or John Chiang,) was also in the same mid 60s to mid 70s fame, though he has since moved on to senior roles in TVB.
ReplyDeleteHe first starred in Street Boys (1960) and 2nd was a supporting role in Cheng Pei Pei's Golden Swallow (1968).
He shot to fame after Wang Yu stopped his acting
