Watch Out The Oil Prices – Israel Preparing To Attack Iran’s Nuclear Sites, Whilst Trump Grabbing Gaza Strip
February 14th, 2025 by financetwitter
With four years under his belt in the Oval Office during his first term, Donald Trump does not need a much learning curve. Government agencies are moving with lightning speed to implement President Trump’s executive orders. From rolling back Biden’s transgender rights to cutting more than 2 million government jobs, he isn’t holding back what he wants to do in his current second term.
As Trump can’t seek re-election anymore, he does not need to be overly concerned about being popular. After announcing his plan to snatch and own the Gaza Strip, and transform it into a resort – the “Riviera of the Middle East” – the Arabs are scrambling to come out with an alternative to hopefully stop the U.S. president from forcefully relocating the 2 million Gazans to Jordan, Egypt and other Arab nations.
Delighted with Trump’s plan to take over “demolition site” Gaza, which was seen as the only solution to terminate Hamas terrorists there, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has praised Trump’s idea as a “creative and revolutionary vision”. And when Hamas suddenly suspended the hostage-for-prisoner deal, Mr Trump quickly suggested the cancellation of the ceasefire, which Israel gladly agreed.

There’s one nation, however, that is incredibly terrified with Trump – Iran. Get real, every U.S. president goes to war to assert authority, dominance and power. The new Commander-in-Chief is not likely to start a war with military superpower like Russia or China. So, the only easy meat that the U.S. can confidently bomb (and bully) is Iran, which coincidentally is a friend of both Moscow and Beijing.
Initially, even though Trump had an excellent record when it comes to fighting anti-Semitism, Israel was not very sure how far the newly elected president would go at backing the Jews state in its war in Gaza. But now they are absolutely sure that he will support Israel in not only exterminating Hamas to the extent of kicking the Palestinian out of Gaza, but also in countering the Iranian threat.
Israel would be really dumb not to use Trump to dismantle Hamas terrorists. It would be a jackpot if the Pentagon could send troops to force Palestinians to leave Gaza under the pretext of rebuilding and reconstruction. The top prize is to strike Iran’s nuclear program, something which Israel desires but needs the approval from Washington, but was rejected by Joe Biden.

Now, a pre-emptive strike that would set back Tehran’s nuclear program by weeks or even months is back on the drawing board. While Israel has the capability to hit the Iranian’s nuclear facilities, it needs the American military support to ensure Ayatollah Ali Khamenei does not retaliate. A U.S. green light is also crucial to prevent other Arab nations from rejecting such attack on Iran.
A report warnings about a potential Israeli strike was included in multiple intelligence reports, including the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). The report warned that Israel is likely to attempt a strike on Iran’s Fordow (an underground uranium enrichment facility) and Natanz nuclear facilities (which had been targeted by the Stuxnet virus previously) in the first six months of 2025.
In an interview on Fox News late on February 10, Trump said there were two ways of stopping Iran from developing a nuclear weapon – “with bombs or with a written piece of paper.” He said – “I’d much rather do a deal that’s not gonna hurt them. I’d love to make a deal with them without bombing them.” The president said Iranian officials were “worried and frightened” of the consequences should a deal not be reached.

On October 26, 2024, Israel launched three waves of air strikes against 20 locations in Iran and other locations in Iraq, and Syria, codenamed “Operation Days of Repentance”. That attack had degraded Iran’s air defences, including the regime’s remaining last three Russian-made S-300 surface-to-air missile system, leaving Iran exposed to a follow-on assault.
With Iran’s nuclear sites unprotected, the sitting duck is vulnerable to Israeli attacks. Israeli jets could enter Iranian airspace, flying near the nuclear sites and dropping bunker buster BLU-109s. It was not a coincidence that The Trump administration approved the sale of guidance kits for those bunker busters last week. Both Israel and the U.S. cannot afford to wait for Iran to become a nuclear state like North Korea.
Israel’s game plan is to destroy not only Iran’s nuclear facilities as well as its ballistic missile capability, but also to take down the Iranian regime. If Trump administration agrees, it’s not hard to convince Saudi Arabia and its allies to play ball. In fact, Israel-U.S. could use this as bargaining chips for the “temporary relocation” of Palestinians, which must be packaged as an attractive deal.

From the beginning, Hamas’ half-baked plan to attack Israel – without a good exit plan or the ability to defeat the Jews state – was a terrible strategy. It provided a golden opportunity to Netanyahu to cling to power, Israel to wipe out the terrorists, justification to resettle Palestinians elsewhere, U.S. to take over and own Gaza, and now to strike Iran. It’s too late to cry over spilled milk.
Two-thirds of Gaza’s buildings have been either damaged or destroyed, leaving behind 42 million tonnes of rubble. Having sent Gaza back to the Stone Age, Israel shifted focus to Lebanon. From the stunning assassination of Haniyeh in Tehran to the shocking walkie-talkie and pager explosions in Lebanon, it quickly crippled the entire chain of command of Hezbollah.
The targeted assassination of numerous top officials in Hamas, Hezbollah and even Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including Haniyeh, Nasrallah and Sinwar was the sign of the end of Iranian’s proxies. The killing of Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah who initially thought to be invincible, was the ultimate game changer that will change “the balance of power in the region”.

Heck, the domino effect set in motion by the incredible idiot Hamas on October 7, 2023 had seen the stunning downfall of Syria’s President Assad as well, something out of Tehran’s calculation. Crucially, a land corridor for Iran to supply weapons and material to Hezbollah in Lebanon had gone after the critical link – President Assad – is destroyed.
Everything Iran had worked for and dedicated so much military resources, weapons and money to counter “Great Satan” America and “Little Satan” Israel for the past 40 years is all gone. The Assad regime is gone. Iran’s ability to destabilise the Jewish state on the Israeli border is gone. Iran’s ability to project power as far west as the Mediterranean and south to the Arabian Sea is also gone.
Call it land grab or whatever you like, but the winners are dividing the spoil of war. The U.S. wanted to take over Gaza, whilst Israel has constructed nine military bases along the “buffer zone” inside occupied southern Syria extending from Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights to the border triangle in the south. The Jews state also occupied two areas in the Syria-Jordan-Israel border triangle following the fall of Bashar Al-Assad.

As Israel moves to its next phase, Iranian’s regime is facing its own existential threat. Do you really think with Trump on its side, Tel Aviv will leave Tehran alone and allow it to build nuclear weapons? Having shuttered the Obama administration’s nuclear deal with Tehran and ordered a US-led strike on Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani in 2020, do you think Trump will not bomb Iran?
Even in the weeks leading up to the 2024 US presidential election, Israel had been urging Biden administration to strike Iran, arguing that they should take advantage of Iran’s degraded air defence capabilities and go further – targeting its nuclear program. The only concern Trump has with a military strike is the global oil price, which will skyrocket in the event of a major escalation.
Even though the U.S. President has rubbished as “greatly exaggerated” the reports that the U.S. and Israel are working together to blow Iran into oblivion, Donald Trump is not only unpredictable, but has been flip-flopping since taking over less than a month ago. For now, Iran’s leaders are struggling with an economic crisis due to corruption, incompetence, and U.S. sanctions.
