Anwar’s aide slams Dr M
over claim foreign leaders
barred from meeting him
Kamil Munim dares Dr Mahathir Mohamad to name the leaders and the countries they are from.

Kamil Munim, who is the political secretary to Anwar Ibrahim in his capacity as finance minister, was responding to a podcast in which Mahathir claimed that Anwar prevented three foreign leaders from meeting him.
“Who are the leaders (and which) countries they are from?” Kamil asked in a post on X.
“Name them. If not, then (you) are lying to create a negative perception (about Anwar) and gain political sympathy.
“Lying is not good… It is a sin.”
Yesterday, Mahathir claimed in the Apa Cerita podcast that three foreign leaders who were in Malaysia had wished to meet him.
However, he alleged that Anwar had not allowed them to do so.
The 99-year-old Mahathir has served as prime minister twice, first as the leader of former ruling coalition Barisan Nasional for 22 years and later as chairman of Pakatan Harapan for 22 months after the 2018 general election.
