KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — A Form Four female student was reportedly killed after she was allegedly stabbed by a Form Two male student at a school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, this morning.
According to Berita Harian, the incident occurred around 9.30am, when the suspect brought a knife to school before attacking the victim.
Another student was also reportedly injured in the incident.
Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail reportedly confirmed that the stabbing took place outside the classroom but within the school compound.
“The suspect has been arrested, and the Selangor Police Chief will provide further details soon,” he said at a press conference today,” he was quoted as saying.
Mohd Khalid added that the identity of the suspect, aged 14, cannot be revealed as he is a minor.
