Fireman Adib's death - Not sure WTF the IGP is babbling about?

FMT:

Fireman Adib’s family to sue police

Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim succumbed to injuries sustained during a riot outside a temple in Subang Jaya in 2018

PETALING JAYA: The family of fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim, who succumbed to injuries sustained during a riot, plans to commence civil action against the police soon.

Speaking to FMT, the family’s lawyer Mohd Kamaruzaman A Wahab said his clients maintained that Adib’s death was a result of an assault, in line with a coroner’s inquest which held that fireman Adib had been murdered by two or more unidentified persons.

He was commenting on Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador’s remarks that no reliable eye-witness had been found to say they saw Adib being assaulted.

“We will commence civil action against the police soon. The suit is to seek compensation for the police’s failure to control the situation on the day which led to Adib’s death,” Kamaruzaman said.

Previously, Hamid had said police had reached a dead end in their investigation and had exhausted all means to find reliable witnesses who could clearly testify that they had seen Adib being dragged and assaulted.

Hamid also suggested that police set up a task force to look into the testimony provided by expert pathologists who looked into Adib’s death. The two pathologists gave different theories on how Adib had died.

Investigations into the case are still ongoing.

Adib died at IJN from injuries he received after being dispatched to the scene of a riot outside the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Subang Jaya in November 2018.

kaytee notes:

What I don't understand about police procedures is 'if the police had reached a dead end in their investigation and had exhausted all means to find reliable witnesses who could clearly testify that they had seen Adib being dragged and assaulted' (as the IGP claimed), then WTF can 'set[ting] up a task force to look into the testimony provided by expert pathologists who looked into Adib’s death' do?

  2. Obviously one of the two "expert" pathologists is wrong. Either the fireman was beaten up, or he met with an accident, resulting in his death. So looking into the two testimonies makes sense; determine which testimony is correct.

Unless the polis has a theory that the fireman beat himself up, like TBH choked himself ala demonstrated by a certain senior lawyer ha ha ha...

    BUT.....shockingly....

there has been no effort to investigate the gang that started the riots at the Hindu temple in the first place.......

    1. Yes, one most glaring defect in the authorities investigations.

A few people caught red handed rioting have been charged, but none of the masterminds who planned , instigated and paid the hoodlums who threatened the Hindu Temple and devotees have been caught and charged. They were clearly the key catalysts behind the riots.

Seems a glaring attempt by the police to evade the issue...

  3. The "Adib was murdered" narrative is collapsing ler, and a lot of vested interests cannot stand that.

Unfortunate for the family , who likely have been deeply misled by people with twisted Race/Religion agendas.

Can't blame Tommy Thomas or evil DAP now.
