KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 — Umno has expelled three former ministers from the party for supporting the Opposition in the general election, said Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Mansor.

The Umno secretary-general said he has instructed the party to formally notify Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, Tan Sri Rais Yatim and Tun Daim Zainuddin via writing of their automatic sackings for violating party ethics and its constitution.

“They are veterans and have been with us for a long time. They should know better,” he said in a video posted online.

“What saddens me is that when they were with us, we always supported them. And it’s not like they didn’t have problems.”

The Umno leader commonly called Ku Nan expressed exasperation at the trio’s attacks against the party, saying he did not know what they truly wanted.

All three have spoken out against Umno and Barisan Nasional, with Daim and Rafidah actively campaigning for Pakatan Harapan in the election together with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Rais and Daim are known loyalists of Dr Mahathir.

Good Lord, UMNO shouldn't have done that to such party (dis)loyalists. It's only a small itsy bitsy teeny weeny lil' olde mistake of theirs to attend a Pakatan Harapan ceramah. Maybe they had dropped in by mistake and were too polite to rudely leave before they finished their tea.

People like them are just like Mahathir - damn good salt of the very "fertile" earth. And we shouldn't hold anything against them - so what if a couple of hundreds of billions were lost by anyone of them. WTF man, it's only taxpayers' money.

Pakatan Harapan or, to be more precise, the DAP should be sacking people like Dr Tan Seng Giaw, Dr Boo Cheng Hau, Ng Wei Aik, Teh Yee Cheu (ooops I forgot Teh has already left) and for PKR, Dr Tan Kee Kwong and Gan Pei Nei.

Ng Wei Aik
wonder what I did wrong?

Gan Pei Neiwonder what I did wrong?

They have been very disobedient 'children' much as one of them might have served his party for 40 years. None of them is worth his or her weight in gold as good olde mighty and hefty Superman Hew Kuan Yau.

Hew Kuan Yau

his body might have left DAP but his soul is still in on the rocket cockpit Blue Moon

Sheeesh, that UMNO party has been far too harsh on good people like Daim, Rafidah and Rais. It's especially annoying when PH's beautification process might have been underway to canonise them, as has been done for Mahathir - what a beaut of a Saint. Eat your heart out, Teresa.

ta senyum kah?

But hold on, there might be good news after all, the game ain't over till the fat big-boned lady sings.

  1. Ktemoc's desperate Fake News.

Dr Tan Seng Giaw, Boo Cheng Hau, Ng Wei Aik, and for PKR, Dr Tan Kee Kwong and Gan Pei Nei, NONE have been sacked from their respective parties or even subjected to any disciplinary sanctions.

They have not been selected as election candidates, because the party leadership assessed that there were better candidates.

That is a VERY different matter.

    1. typical sad fake news from Monsterball who makan mucho dedak from the Mahathir camp.

He has blatantly LIED in his desperate accusation.

All I wrote was "... should be sacking people", not what Monsterball has LIED by accusing me of saying " ... have been sacked"

Monsterball is a desperate dedak-makaner who is prepared to LIE just to secure his dedak. He is unscrupulous and desperate for dedak

  2. When the winner is declared in the wee hours of May 10 I wonder if the sore loser would just try to stir things up ala-May 13. It would be even more contentious if there was no clear cut winner seat-wise and serious horse trading is needed with minor parties.

    3. Other defeated Senior politicians can look forward to a well earned and respected retirement.

Najib, if he loses power likely looks forward to long years in prison.

As we can already see even before polling day, Najib has every intention to play foul to hang on to power.

How sad only so few can't be bought over their loyalty by Fulus.

Can you imagine, just these few among 3.5 million UMNO members. And I haven't even added in the rest of BN Fulus takers.

  4. They were sacked because their party laws says so. It wasn't there when UMNO was formed, so guess who put it in there? Yup, it their sponsor and godfather. When UMNO Baru was formed.
