He was addressing concerns that Taib and Sarawak BN may not be probed for alleged corruption if they defect and support Mahathir's government.
Such concerns were raised after Taib and Mahathir met following Harapan's victory in the 14th general election.
So, will Taib be investigated?

Just a quick recall, the Sarawak Report website says "it exists to provide a platform for those who denied access to the [Sarawak] state-controlled media, and "to offer an alternative vision of justice, transparency and a fairer future".
Maybe it shouldn't call itself Sarawak Report anymore but rather the 1MDB Report.
