Supporting the One Belt and One Road Initiative (OBOR)

MM Online - The hits just keep on coming — PBRS’s turn to leave BN (extracts):

KOTA KINABALU, May 12 — Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) became the third Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) component party to quit the coalition tonight, following Upko and Liberal Democratic Party in the last 36 hours.

Its president, Tan Sri Joseph Kurup, said the party had decided yesterday, but waited until after its supreme council meeting today to announce the news.

“In view of the fact that the BN government has fallen, PBRS leaders feel that we will not be able to serve our community if we stayed on,” he said, adding the party’s constituents were among the most disadvantaged in the state.

“Under these circumstances, PBRS decided to review its position within the BN coalition, and has applied to become a part of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. Only by joining PH, can we provide what we promised to the rakyat.”

Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam which have lots of snakes have been invited to send their slimy ones to Sabah, which is currently experiencing a froggy explosion.

After the snakes have taken care of those frogs, China will then be invited to take those snakes back to Guangdong for the snake-meat soup festival.

    1. Yup.. TYT Taib has just met TDM. Abg Jo has also being asked to convene a supreme council meeting by mid week. I guess it would be end of UMNO. As Rosli Dahlan said.. Selamat Tinggal UMNO.

Thank you to TDM. Siapalah HARAPAN tanpa TDM.

Siapakah yang akan menjadi penyambung warisan?

  2. Hohohoho! But as it is, Kurup lost in the election as well. Good riddance. Now BN will know who are their true friends. They should look at how DAP managed their friends; either ride on them or backstab them or even BOTH like what they did onto PAS.

  3. KTemoc,

This is political opportunism, no doubt but I cannot blame them since they are only taking such actions supposedly for the sake of Sabah.

What this shows is that they were not committed to BN as such but only for teh same of Sabah and now that BN has lost and has quite literally fallen apart in Peninsular Malaysia, with MCA having won one seat, MIC two, UMNO 47, Gerakan 0 and PPP 0, I guess they know which side their bread is now buttered for the next five years.

It looks like that R.A.H.M.A.N. prophecy has come to pass and Malaysia is headed for a new future ahead.

I would not be surprised if Gerakan and PPP quit BN, along perhaps with MIC and MCA, leaving UMNO very lonely in Peninsular Malaysia.

Also, with calls within UMNO for Najib to step down or be toppled as party head, it looks like UMNO too is falling apart.

But they just can't kill the beast"

After singing this song for years....then on 9th May 2018, they finally kill the beast. Hooray, Hooray, Hooray !

  4. Many of us faced tear gas and arrest to oppose De Dak side.

The People of Malaysia on May 9 2018 finally said Enough is Enough and kicked out the Bastards.
They must not be allowed to come back in to power through the back door.

    1. Ironically, the times that tear gas were used was during the reign of Emperor Mahathir. How times and mudah lupa-ness have changed things.

  5. Apparently, there is not much snake or frog in the East Coast. Quite a safe and secured place to venture out and explore. One can enjoy the beauty, serenity and the sea breeze. Alhamdulillah syukur to Allah for HIS blessings.

    1. Syukur for now, yes. But we won't know what vengeance Mahathir will wreck onto Kelantan & Terengganu. The ECRL will be gone, the development promised by Najib will be gone, unless PAS comes to heel- I expect the fair oil royalty redistribution to be gone too, and I'm expecting another round of water cuts to both states to teach Hadi a lesson that resistance is futile.

I was cheerful, bright and gay
Looking forward to who wouldn't do
The role I was about to play
But as if to knock me down
      Reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch
      Cut me into little pieces
      Leaving me to doubt
Talk about, God in His mercy
Oh, if he really does exist
      Why did he desert me
      In my hour of need
      I truly am indeed
      Alone again, naturally
      It seems to me that
There are more hearts broken in the world
      That can't be mended
      Left unattended
      What do we do
      What do we do

    4. HY I nearly deleted your poem in what could be in the Kadazan language. As I have once said, only English and Malay languages may be used on my block for the commonsense of comprehension by every visitor and of course the blog owner. However I have published your poem this time but I won't next time, for the simple reason I and many others don't know what you have written. I disavow any knowledge of what is in the poem but publishes it on the basis of reasonable freedom of speech here

So many nights I'd sit by my window
Waiting for someone to sing me his song
So many dreams I kept deep inside me
Alone in the dark but now you've come along

And you light up my life
You give me hope to carry on
You light up my days and fill my nights with song

Rollin'at sea, adrift on the water
Could it be finally I'm turnin' for home
Finally a chance to say Hey, I love you
Never again to be all alone<
And you light up my life

You give me hope to carry on
You light up my days and fill my nights with song

Cause you, you light up my life
You give me hope to carry on
You light up my days and fill my nights with song

      It can't be wrong
      When it feels so right
Cause you…..you light up my life

      Tiada apa-apa yang dapatku berikan
Engkau memang cantik memang tidak padan
      Dan tidak sepadan

      Aku anak kampung tiada pelajaran
      Kuli-kuli sahaja memang tidak padan
Cantik bha kau itu banyak yang tergoda

      Lagi orang kaya
      Tiada keretaku bawa kau jalan-jalan
Rumahku pun teda ada pun bapa punya
Apa lagi belanja mahu bayar berian
      Kahwin sama kamu

Bukannya ku tidak suka sama kamu
Tapi aku takut hidup kau kan sengsara
      Kerana aku cinta
Aku lepaskan kau sama orang lain

Engkau masih muda cantik lagi menawan
Janganlah kau cari lelaki macam saya
      Engkau memang cantik

      Nanti kau menyesal tiadalah guna

      Tiada keretaku bawa kau jalan-jalan
Rumahku pun teda ada pun bapa punya
Apa lagi belanja mahu bayar berian
      Kahwin sama kamu

Bukannya ku tidak suka sama kamu
Tapi aku takut hidup kau kan sengsara
      Kerana aku cinta
Aku lepaskan kau sama orang lain

  6. Another bitter irony of fate. Shafie was directly implicated in the water infra scandal that cause the 2016 crisis in Pulau Banggi. And now instead of being in jail, he became the kingmaker. Sabah politics are indeed a very fickle thing.

  7. As predicted the IMPLOSION of BN and internally their respective component members are taking hold.

Politicians being politicians will never be like soldiers who willingly dies in battles with their Generals or return back home if wounded.

Politicians will always find a way to survive even when they lost their political battles and hope to make a comeback one day.

Hence in the days to come, will emerge those opportunist politicians to battle and takeover their fallen leaders posts which were not open to them earlier. Such infighting will happen as to ensure the continual survival of their own party as well a their own future.

Such is the fate of life of politicians.

The worst lack of principle in a politician is when they start to leave their own friendly coalition and abandoning even their very own party and start singing their opponents battle songs.

    That level is called KATAK.
