quite parsimonious in his personal lifestyle, he may make a good Finance Ministerwakakaka |
PETALING JAYA, May 12 — Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today unveiled the first three candidates for his Cabinet line-up, which comprises Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) top leaders.
DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng has been appointed finance minister; which means PH will likely have to pick another chief minister in Penang.
Amanah president Mohamad Sabu has been appointed defence minister; while Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has been made home minister.

Amanah president Mohamad Sabu has been appointed defence minister; while Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has been made home minister.
This is history in the re-making, where a Chinese Malaysian becomes the Finance Minister once AGAIN.
The last Chinese Malaysian to be Finance Minister was Tun Tan Siew Sin, but of MCA, 44 years ago.
Tun Tan was so respected by Tun Razak that the PM ordered the Armed Forces and the Police to also salute Tun Tan, where out of the cabinet, only the PM, DPM and Defence Minister merited a military salute.
Tun loved chicken sandwich with 7-UP wakakaka |
But Tun Tan failed in one respect, the DPM-ship. He wanted to be DPM but in his time, that was just a Malay bridge too far. Tun Razak had to disappoint him.
And the most bizarre incongruity was that eventually it was another MCA man, Ling Liong Sik, who became interim-PM of Malaysia for (I think) one day when UMNO had its constitutional crisis, wakakaka.
But wait, double that history-making, recall that Lim Guan Eng was once a jailbird, though we all knew he was jailed after being betrayed by a sweetie he defended (after being visited and appealed to by sweetie's granny). It is indeed history because he has moved on from being a former prisoner to being CM of Penang to being the Finance Minister of Malaysia.
But I have to admit I still don't like him for his rude disrespectful treatment of DAP veteran Dr Tan Seng Giaw, wakakaka, though I have to respect his political achievements and progress. He provides the inspiration for young Chinese Malaysians to work hard and be successful.
My commiseration to Azmin Ali for missing out on two of his most sought-after cabinet positions (besides being PM, wakakaka), namely, Finance and Home.
fCk fCk, now let me see what I can do |
And last but not least, my congratulations to Chow Kon Yeow who is now likely to become the new CM of Penang.
Chow, check those hill-slope developments in Penang please |
if yr theory is correct, this finance minister could be back to jail soon unless he kiss mahathir ass, n oso dick.
ReplyDeleteIf his tunnel scandal comes to fruition (ie no meddling by PH Government), then he'll probably be back to jail soon.
DeletePerhaps, mamak has been advised to take a lesson from CaoCao's 乱世治国论 - “唯才是举”!
DeleteWakakakaka…… eat yr heart out!
Naw, Mahathir's lesson even more powerful: always have a blackmail file ready on anyone. Wakakaka!
Deleteu mean the caocao who said tis "I'd rather betray others, than have others betray me"? he start his divide n rule game already...use yr brain la.
DeleteCaoCao's divide & rule game?
DeleteWakakakaka……
That's was ONLY part of CaoCao's bigger plan for a peaceful regime.
He is not been called 治世之能臣,乱世之英雄也 for nothing.
U read with a biased mindset within yr cocoon & interpret 宁我负天下,不可天下人负我 w/o considering the bigger picture…… tsk… tsk… of a chaotic time!
Who doesn't use that grey matter?
mahathirs divide & rule game.
Deleten sorry to say tis, yr understand of china/chinese history is still at kindergarten level. john agree he would do more reading, u oso shd do the same.
Then yr understanding of the same?
DeletePerhaps, within that cocoon u setup for yrself.
Ignorant of the circumstances, the background reality & die2 thinking a western utopian concept (a corrupted one) MUST be apply through & through.
A residue from that mongrel formosa poison?
Wrt readings, I have the time due to my isolayed work location. I'm game to say I know a little MORE Chinese history/philosophy/classics than u. Many of which u just scanned r tinted with yr self-propagated silo views!
If u want to argue further THEN break that cocoon first. Ooop… also yr habitual name calling!
Hy cheebye brain damaged.....
DeleteMahathirism > Machiavellism > Caocaoism
DeleteHohohoho!
wow, not a bad analogy
DeleteU don't know anything about CaoCao!
DeleteU r objectively biased against mamak!
U know NUTS about Machiavellian concepts!
All these plus the reading deficiency sickness make kauxai political scientists of the spurious nature!
Now who was it that warned the Chinese that if they don’t vote for MCA that there won’t be any Chinese in the cabinet?
ReplyDeleteI think Wan Azizah,if left to her own inclination, will prefer to contain Azmin in Selangor.
ReplyDeleteProtocol wise,a Menteri Besar ranks equal to a Cabinet Minister, so he can't complaint about not being given due respect. But Anwar may have other plans for his protege.
Right attitude, rafizi and the so called young leaders just got to sabar la.
DeleteThough we finally won the battle of berlin....many nazies out there
One of them called kaytee mock.
You know what to do lor
A little history about Berlin since you brought it up.
DeleteAfter the Commies took over, they proceeded to barricade the city and made all to suffer because some didn't heel to their authoritarianism. Wakakaka! Are we to suffer as history repeats itself?
Don't worry about Tan Seng Giaw lah.....now that DAP is in power in the Federal Government, they will know how KauTim him.
ReplyDeleteAppointment as His Excellency the Malaysian Ambassador ( I hear he likes Europe very much) should assuage his hurt feelings to a great extent.
Like david marshall
DeleteLim Kit Siang gets to see his son take the oath as Finance Minister of Malaysia.
ReplyDeleteHe must be very proud.
The years of struggle from the 1960's has culminated in this.
DAP was dismissed as a fringe party, but now the 2nd largest party in the Federal Administration,
doubly powerful because all the other Pakatan parties know well that they all came in partly on the back of overwhelming Chinese support. Estimated 90% of Chinese voters supported Pakatan Rakyat - and DAP is the core of the community's support.
I don't like LGE. But my congrats to him anyway.
ReplyDeleteI loathe hadi awang. I am very sure nik aziz loathed otak udang awang but my congrats to hadi awang though his achievement in terengganu and kelantan will be short lived. So do enjoy as much as u can

DeleteI prefer him so so much more than politicians like Noh Omar, Nazri, Mail Kotak Ikan, Jamal Jamban, Adnan Pahang MB, Bung Mohtar, Reezal Marican, and numerous more thuggish luminaries.
DeleteMe too give my heartiest congrats to LGE...with him taking care of our money, all of us could sleep tight at night, wakakaka.
is better we donate him a bangaloooo with swimming pool first, or else he would again buy one from his developer at dun know what market price.
DeleteI think Malaysian Chinese had a better deal voting DAP or PKR instead of MCA or Gerakan or LDP or SAPP or STAR or whatever.
ReplyDeleteIf BN had won, guess what's the highest posts MCA, Gerakan etc could have got.
That was what the Malaysian Chinese was hoping for instead of Ahjibkor or Ma Hua or Gerakan threatening by asking to vote for Chinese representation each time.
Nostro piggy piggy pig aka kaytee double....your true feeling kah
DeleteFeel choked?
Azmin already mb I don’t think he cares about cabinet post.
ReplyDeleteMB post is just stepping stone for him. We all know that man has in mind which chair he wants to be in and he's in a hurry, bless his heart, wakakkaka. Maybe this little saying could give him pause : “In our rushing, bulls in china shops, we break our own lives.”
DeleteYup...the Lim Guan Eng corruption trial is Mahathir's leverage over DAP.
ReplyDeleteHe may Kautim, but the price will be DAP slavery....
During that polling day on the 9th, the ordinary Chinese play a very important crucial role in ensuring the votes are not stolen. I was there to witness some of it on that harrowing day.
ReplyDeleteThey came in the hundreds upon receiving appeal from DAP to do their 'duty' as they put it.
Vigilant to ensure the voting went off properly, watching with eagle eyes to detect cheating and most important of all, to protect the ballot boxes. In certain stations, the events can only be described as harrowing ! No weapons were involved...they used only their hands, arms and bodies to stop unauthorised cars forcibly trying to take away the ballot boxes after the officials simply walk away refusing to sign the Forms 14 when the counting show very clearly BN is losing. They surrounded the schools until late at night, refusing to budge, even to the extent of coming to blows. These ordinary Chinese were the heroes that day...hundreds of them.
