This is heart-breaking for me, one of Dyana's fan.
But why, other than she is now engaged?
Was she only politically electable when she was 'single'?
Isn't Zairil Khir, her fiance, still a DAP candidate for GE14?
If so, why is there this discrimination on women's eligibility once they are engaged? Aren't Chong Eng, (and once) Fong Po Kuan and Hannah Yeoh, who are all married, proof of this nonsensical policy?
Like it or not, Muslim/ Malay society is still patriarchal male-oriented. To a certain extent , Chinese society as well.
ReplyDeleteThe moral taint related to Zairil-Dyana's affair and adultery (on Zairil's part) weighs more heavily on the woman. She could well be the receiving end of accusations of being a Home Wrecker, though I bet the man is equally or more guilty.
Expect BN to play up her "moral perfidy" to the fullest if she is fielded as a candidate. That would be an unnecessary distraction from substantive issues which DAP needs the public to focus on.
She is , politically , damaged goods, like it or not.
Yeah..
Deleteif they had committed adultery, as you accused them of, JAIPP would have gone after them.
DeletePlease refrain from wild reckless and very harmful (to the accused) accusations when you do not have an iota of proof
The salacious video is easily available on Youtube.
DeleteI will not link it here as it is their private matter.
At first Zairil called it gutter politics, but the events of his subsequent divorce (fact) and impending marriage to Dyana (fact) very much confirms the video is factual.
It IS their private matter, but IF she becomes an election candidate, then her moral fitness becomes a legitimate question for others to bring up.
As I was made to understand, mere videos and photos are not sufficient evidence under Syariah laws to prosecute for adultery or Khalwat.
DeleteThat is why they actually have to carry out raids and catch people "basah"... eakakaka..
But they can be used to support divorce proceedings..
Before u fart against about why this&that about human (dis)ingenuities in their seemingly irrational behaviours, perhaps u SHOULD review the PD!
ReplyDeleteSuch behaviours cut across races, nations at different level of sopo development at their different stage of evolution.
Bolihland DOESN'T has the monopoly!
Reminds me of the guy caught at Vegas Nightclub. Would he still be legible as a candidate if found drinking only Nescafe?
ReplyDeleteIt is ok to go to night club. But the contentious issue is he had tested positive for drug?
Deleteany DAP Malay member would be politically destroyed if caught for haram stuff
Deleteanyone that often patron nightclub know how to turn the tested result from positive to negative.
DeleteBisa diatur, especially if you have the right cables.
DeleteFor Dumno, hitam bolih jadi putih in the blink of an eye and then reverse back almost immediately if it suits its purpose...and all these masses of Malay Umno supporters will switch accordingly....this is called the flexible thinking Malays, wakakaka.
Deletei think no need cable, he can just tell honestly he was at de vegas to try out new drug, as chairman of drug rehabilitation committee, this is his job scope.
Deletede vegas! wow!
I prefer Ridhuan Tee take on Christopher Ross Lim (aka Zairil).
ReplyDeleteConvert vs convert.
It is un-Islamic to look down on a convert
DeleteThe fact is they ARE considered "celup" ( not the genuine article ).
DeleteMany converts go out of their way to prove their Islamic credentials... e.g. Tee Chuan Seng
The Chinese converts here are in a special hell of their own...not fully accepted by the 'tulin' Melayu and in such desperation, have to be more Malay than the Malays, going sooo overboard hence that oft-quoted phrase : there's no one more zealous or fanatical than the convert. It is all about acceptance....
DeleteWakakaka……
DeleteCelup Melayu, mamak Melayu, bugis, minangkabau, sulu…… siapa tu Melayu tulin?
Mungkin Melayu tulin ada lah mithos kejadian kaum ketuanan.
Wakakakaka…… Takkan Melayu Hilang Di Dunia
Melayu tu yang di sebutkan tu ADA lah apa?
Even the identity of the chanter IS in doubt nowadays!
Talking about converts, the big picture is even more depressing for the Malay Muslims :)
DeleteOnce upon a time, the Malays here sincerely thought that Islam originated from Malaya and their greatest and deepest disappointment was when they found out the truth that actually they themselves were converts and that their prophet Mohammed was not a Malay from Malaya !! And they have to kow tow to the REAL muslims which are the Arabs from the land of the unta, wakakakaka.... and like how these so called 'tulin' Melayus ( all Malays are Muslims right ?) looked down on the Chinese converts (and to a much lesser extend, the Indian muslims ), they found themselves looked down upon by the REAL Arab muslims....stuff this into your pipe and smoke it, wakakakaka. It is all about the pecking order, of the religious kind la.
Chinese and Indians became Muslims while the ancestors of Parameswara were still pagans, Buddhists and Hindus
DeleteThere are 2 hurdles for converts. While the Malays accepts them as fellow Muslims, they find it hard to accept them as fellow Malays. Not surprising this is quite common in other cultures as well.
DeleteAs for the converts, they'd either become fanatics (like Ridhuan & PAS Supporters Congress) or non-practising liberals (like Christopher Lim).
So let the convert skru the convert and we will have a show of the century.
