Campaign advice for PAS in Kedah

ALOR SETAR, April 11 — PAS is eyeing a return to power in Kedah and the Islamist party is planning to rule alone this time, instead of being part of any coalition involving either Barisan Nasional (BN) or Pakatan Harapan (PH).

Kedah PAS commissioner Ahmad Fakhruddin Sheikh Fakhrurazi rejected rumours that his party was toying with a partnership with rival Umno.

“Our fight has always been with Umno, but we will never want a coalition government because PAS wants to win it all,” he told Malay Mail in an interview at the Kompleks PAS here.

“It is unlikely that we will form a coalition government with them as we plan to win the state alone.”

To this end, he said PAS was working to regain the trust of voters, claiming that this was beginning to manifest during outreach efforts.

Good on you Haji Fakhruddin matey, that's the spirit.

Hey ... er ... I mean ... Haji, I have a suggestion to help PAS win votes, especially Chinese votes. Even though the Chinese community in Kedah is only a minority, at 12.7% of the Kedahan population, mate, every bloody vote counts towards your aspiration.

I am proposing the "Fck-Orf" model, which has its origin some 50 years ago in Alor Setar. Then, a certain arrogant man told the Chinese in Kedah to "Fck-Orf" as he didn't need their votes.

Strangely enough, those Cinapek-s and Cinakui-s complied to his exclamation, wakakaka, by giving their votes to one of your former party president, Yusof Rawa Abdullah who under then-normal circumstances wouldn't have a snowflake's chance in Hell in that constituency in 1969 election.

Speaking at a ceramah yesterday, Kelantan PAS Youth deputy chief Nor Azariza Mohd Alawi cited the Battle of Badr and how God summoned a cavalry comprising warrior angels to aid Muslim troops.

"When God wants to help us, he has thousands of methods, although this is an election, not a war. How can God help?

"During the Battle of Badr, God sent his cavalry, angels with swords, to fight alongside Muslims.

"The infidel army fled despite having the numbers, while the Muslim troops amounted to just 313. Where did their opponents come from?

"They were God's angels. God wanted to shock the infidel army," Nor Azariza told a crowd of some 400 people at Kampung Kemumin in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, last night.

According to him, there are many other instances in which Muslim mujahidin (holy warriors) were aided by angels.

"So, in an election, can God summon his angels with IC (MyKad) to line up and vote? Yes or no? It is easy, brothers and sisters," Nor Azariza said.

I've to say 'Yes', because I suspect that God had then (in 1969) sent the Chinese (god's angels?) to support Allahyarhum Yusof Rawa in Kota Setar Selatan.

T'was the very first time Chinese Kedahans voted en masse for a Pak Haji from PMIP (Pan Malaysian Islamic Party), which BTW in case you don't know, was the name of your party when we all were, as my blog visitor said it, makan-ing angmor-xai or tahi Mat Salleh, well, at least in the English language.

Subsequently and wisely, your buddies changed PMIP to PAS.

Oh, you should have heard that arrogant man's second exclamation after the election when he realised he lost to Pak Haji Yusof Rawa because of those pesky Cinapek-s and Cinakui-s who took his words to "Fck-Orf", but alas, I heard that exclamation is still classified as a national top secret for at least another 200 years.

But that bloke proves to be rather unsporting, harbouring and nursing his grievance against those Chinese for the last 50 years and for what, you may ask, but for complying with his instructions - beat that, mate.

But I heard he's now chasing after those "Fck-Orf" Chinese votes as he did in 1999, demonstrating beautifully the prophetic words of Pak Haji Hadi Awang, to wit, ia akan menjilat ludah sendiri.

Mate, I leave it up to you and your party 'dirty-tricks' but very halal department to make use of that "Fck-Orf" model. Good luck and may the angels come to your aid.
