Focus Malaysia:
“High time for PAS supremo Hadi Awang to call it a day, either he can’t understand BM or he’s a master spinner”
HUMAN rights activist ad lawyer Siti Kasim was stunned if PAS president Tan Sri Hadi Awang who was asked to comment on the Islamist party’s stance on exploitation of 402 children by the so-called 20 orphanages allegedly linked to the Global Ikhwan Group was implying that what the group did was Islamic.
“Or is it that action taken against GISB means it’s against Is**m?? Mind blowing!! ” she penned on her Facebook page.
Apparently, the Orang Asli advocate was not the only person who could not decipher what the 76-year-old Marang MP was trying to point out given his responses went astray of the question/s posed to him.
“Is this at the level of the PAS president? Does he really not understand the questions or that doesn’t understand the Malay language?” berated pro-Madani social media influencer JOKER
“No wonder Muhyiddin (former premier Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin) hesitated to appoint him as a minister … only qualified as a ‘slipper’ (low) level ambassador. Hey Hadi Just resign”
Ini je ke level Presiden PAS?
Dia ni memang tak reti jawab soalan ke atau memang tak faham Bahasa Melayu?
Patutlah Muhyiddin pon tak tergamak nak lantik jadi Menteri.. layak jadi duta level selipar je lah.
Woiii Hadi
Resign je lah
A commenter even suggested how Hadi could have furnished a wise answer to the journalist’s question.
“’We condemn their actions of using children and tarnishing the image of Islam,’ However, he went on to answer ‘nothing to do with PAS’. It’s true that he answered differently from the question poised to him.”
Another found a similarity in the way Muhjyiddin who is also the Bersatu president and Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) chairman claimed “innocence” even though there is evidence of their wrongdoing.
One netizen reckoned that if this were to be a subjective question in an examination, Hadi would have “whipped up an irrelevant answer”.
“Just ask him to step down. Make Sanusi (Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor) the new PAS president. Sanusi is also an ulama (Islamic scholar).
Asking Hadi to pass the leadership baton to someone else, one commenter remarked that “I would have broken my pen if I were to attend the interview due to excessive irritation”.
“How is re going to face other foreign leaders with his slowness and low energy level. Worse still, he provides answer differently from the question. Also, one wonder whether he’s mobile enough with his condition to move here and amid a tight schedule. I’s surely a pity.” – Sept 16, 2024
