Owners of Deep Impact better have Deep Pockets

If there is one thing a person can do in or to the USA, it’s to sue, someone, anyone! And why not, when Americans have been so fond of suing everyone under the 'stars'.

A Russian astrologist - please note, NOT astronomer - claimed that NASA's space probe successful crashing into the comet Tempel 1 has drastically altered her horoscope. Therefore she is suing the space agency for damages of $300 million.

The astrologist, Marina Bai, averred that following the crash, elements of the comet’s orbit, and correspondingly its ephemeris, will change. Of course that would interfere with her astrology work and buggered up her horoscope.

The space probe that impacted on the comet was naturally called Deep Impact. If Bai succeeds in her claim, she will be taking money from an organization with Deep Pockets. Has she seen all this in the stars and comets (minus one)?
