Yesterday evening British Police evacuated over 20,000 people from Birmingham city centre to perform 4 controlled explosions, one on a bus after receiving intelligence on an unspecified threat at around 8 pm-ish.
Birmingham is Britain’s 2nd largest city. The city centre remains closed, with police helicopters patrolling the sky above.
Police stated that the threats are not related to the London bombings.
