Massive gas pipeline fire in Puchong

A gas pipeline in Taman Puchong Perdana, Selangor, caught fire this morning, causing a huge raging blaze visible from several kilometres away.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said they received a call on the incident at 8.23am.
The department has dispatched firefighters to the scene.

Those out and about, whether their house or in vehicles, can see the rather tall blaze, from my taman and surrounding area. Our cars are covered in mist of sandy particles. Apparently, those living nearer to the incident, identified the area as in Putra Height. There is Klang River between Putra Height and Puchong. Trying to locate any gas storage facility in google map.
ReplyDeleteJust received a viral whatsapp from someone whose house is near the explosion, where the facility belong to Gas Malaysia. The house, in the video, suffered damage at the front porch. Other part of the house not shown, with fire raging across the road to his or her house.
