Salahuddin Ayub desperately seeking support

Star Online:

Ka Siong slams Salahuddin over 'seditious remarks' at vernacular school

By TARRENCE TAN

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has taken to task Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Salahuddin Ayub for allegedly making a seditious remark during Pakatan Harapan's campaign for the Tanjung Piai by-election.

"Today we live peacefully and there are no problems.

"But someone said don't let Barisan Nasional win, otherwise the country will be in chaos," he told a ceramah at Rimba Terjun on Wednesday (Nov 6) night.

The Ayer Hitam MP was referring to remarks made by Salahuddin during a closed-door meeting with Chinese school officials in Kukup, which was deemed racist by some after he warned the teachers that if Barisan returned to power, shootings and arsons could take place everywhere.

Salahuddin was apparently filmed saying this in a viral video clip posted by the Ops Johor Facebook page.

Dr Wee also said it was illogical that supporting Barisan's Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng, would lead to Chinese and Indian vernacular schools being closed.

"These are all accusations because they are getting more racist," he added.

Dr Wee also said MCA had never undermined the positions of Malays and the royal institution.

"In a diverse social setting we must work together, this is the most important treasure for the country," he added.

What an amazing bizarre revelation, that the normally cool, calm and placid Salahuddin Ayub (AMANAH) would resort to such seditious pre-election campaigning.

Warning teachers that if Barisan returned to power, shootings and arson could take place everywhere???

example (only) of arson

Why promote fake speeches, especially after Lim KS warned Tanjung Piai voters that BN would issue such 'fake news'? Hasn't it been ironical and bizarrely hypocritical both for Salahuddin and Lim KS himself who promoted the inciting news that was not a battle between PH and BN, but between PH and Muafakat Nasional?

Why has Salahuddin been so desperate, but of course knowing the Chinese in Tanjung Piai are sick of Parti PRIBUMI ultra-ism?

What a shame the first strike-out falls on AMANAH.

  1. In the course of my 48 years as a voter, I had been told, threatened, many, many , many times by BN, MCA and their doggies don't let the Opposition such as DAP win, because there will be chaos if they do.

MCA very clearly claimed that only they could ensure the continuation of Chinese Vernacular Education.

    1. and how did DAP (Lim GE, the new haughty FM) treat TAR-UC + UTAR with his disdain and refusal to aid the college/uni?

    2. Chinese Vernacular Education as a whole, and not just get fixated on a single issue TAR UC, has done well under Pakatan Harapan.

Come to Malaysia to see the truth..and not just kerbauing after reading your MCA macai's propaganda...
Han Chiang Independent High School is doing better than it has been for years and years. So is Jit Sin Private in Bukit Mertajam.

  3. MCA were right. There is chaos now and DAP are not supporting Chinese vernacular education. PAS are not Taliban as there are many Buddhist temples in Kelantan. In fact, The Wat Phothivihan temple in tumpat has one of the largest reclining Buddhas in South East Asia.
