PONTIAN, Nov 5 (Sin Chew Daily) -- In an online survey conducted on Pribumi's Facebook where visitors are asked to choose between the party's candidate for Tanjung Piai parliamentary by-election Karmaine Sardini and MCA's Datuk Seri Wee Jeck Seng, the result shows that Wee wins overwhelmingly with 88% of support against Karmaine's 12%.
Some 14,100 people have responded to the poll as of this morning, with MCA's support far outstripping Pribumi's.

If I were MCA I would be wary of the polls, as it might have been a 'reverse-psychology' polling to elicit sympathy-panic voting by die-hard Pribumi (and conservative Malay) supporters

ReplyDeleteI remember , in the 2018 Port Dickson by-election , on--line polls showed Stevie Chan beating Anwar Ibrahim. In the actual polls , Stevie Chan actually received 337 votes...poor guy, I hope he wasn't mislead by the on-line poll into thinking he actually had a solid chance to win.
Of course, this time, MCA is actually likely to win....
