A ketuanan fairy tale by Hanif Omar (former IGP)

Even though I have lost my erstwhile admiration for Lim Kit Siang, once one of my twin idols (the other being our dear late Karpal Singh) I find it to swallow what former IGP Hanif Omar tells us about Lim.

Hanif Omar informed us via Malaysiakini that Lim KS wanted a Chinese-dominated West Cost (Peninsula) to secede from a Malay-controlled Malaysia in an extraordinary proposal that beggars anyone's brain (except the kerbau-mouth of Hanif Omar, wakakaka).

C'mon lah, Hanif Omar, stop demon-ising Lim like so because your bombshell has fizzled out like a dysfunctional penis - in other words, don't tok kok lah, wakakaka.

Former inspector-general of police Hanif Omar said he had been tough in maintaining the country's harmony as the top cop and towards this had put DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang behind bars, according to a Sinar Harian report.

Explaining, Hanif noted that the Alliance had formed its successor coalition, BN, following the 1969 riots.

"At that time, the Alliance formed BN because the country was on the brink of destruction. DAP suggested that Peninsular Malaysia be split into two, East Coast for the Malays and the West Coast for the Chinese.

"What was my answer? I put Lim Kit Siang in prison.

"He was in (detention) for two years. That was Hanif's way when I was the inspector-general of police," he was quoted as saying by Sinar Harian during an event at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Shah Alam today.

Hanif served as the inspector-general of police from 1974 to 1994.
Lim was later detained under the now defunct Internal Security Act for the second time during the Operasi Lalang in 1987.

Mahathir's style of ruling - imprisoned inconvenient opposition (including those within UMNO)

Hanif Omar was only the IGP in 1974, after he somehow impressed Tun Razak so greatly in the National Operations Council that the late (2nd) PM zoomed Hanif into the Police top spot.

The BN was formed one year before that, in 1973, so how the fCk was Hanif able to do what he claimed to have done when he was not even the IGP yet?

Besides, that Hanif-allegation about the proposal by Lim KS was so ridiculously preposterous, where Peninsula Malaysia was to split into two, with Malays on the East Coast and Chinese on the West. Even a trouble-maker like Lim KS has been known to be, it's just flabbergasting sheer bull for him to propose.

But it's a lovely ketuanan fairy-tale to please and warm the cockles of the students in Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).

Pommie Malaya 1922

how in the world was LIM KS going to split it into two halves, with Chinese on the left (West Coast) and Malays on the right (East Coast)?

  3. The ex-IGP still living in the old days of BN politics and thinks he is still relevant in New Malaysia ways of politics.

Either he is afraid and has a lot of skeletons in his cupboard to be dug up and discovered or he thinks he is still relevant and needs some relevance in the changing mainstream politics after GE14.

His mind is troubled knowing the injustices and horrible things he may have done coming back to haunt his conscience before he dies. Fighting hard for justifying his guilty conscience.

What a sordid life to live when getting old and frail.

  4. East Coast for Malays back in 1969?!!

Today Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang under PAS and their new Malay partner UMNO. His prediction has come true. Tun Hanif is Nostradamus!!!
