The Bali prosecutor Ida Bagus Wiswantanu is confident that Schapelle Corby’s appeal will fail, which if true, means that Corby will at best retain the 20 years sentence, or if the prosecutor succeeds in convincing the appeals court of the serious of her crime, have her sentence increased.
His confidence is chilling to say the least, but unfortunately he seems to be on more solid grounds than the circus on the other side.
And the saddest part is that in real life there is no such thing as a last minute rescue by a legal superman.
