The USA is the world’s biggest consumer of oil, its biggest emitter of greenhouse gas and worst polluter. It has also refused to sign the Kyoto Protocol on man-made gas emissions affecting, and precautionary measures towards the control of, global warming.
Now, revealed from US Administration briefing notes obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, President Bush took his orders on US policies towards global warming, and his consequential refusal to sign the Kyoto Protocol from ExxonMobil.
Hmmm, the President of the world's most powerful nation taking his orders from an oil company? No wonder the country is in deep shit in various trouble spots around the globe!
The world’s biggest oil company has repeatedly denied that it had anything to do with the US rejection of the Protocol. We knew then and we now know for certain who’s been a big liar.
The US Administration briefing notes actually showed the Administration thanking ExxonMobil for its involvement in the decision on the Kyoto Protocol. Well, what can you say about Bush?
Additionally a White House official had continuously fudged figures to remove or minimise the links between global warming and man-made gas emissions as a result of oil usage.
Bush - a born-again Christian? Hallelujah!
