Who’ll win the Rafizi vs Farhash battle royale? Is PMX able to help his ex-aide once the beans are spilled in court?
DOUBTLESSLY, a battle royale is brewing between two PKR insiders after former economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli refused to budge after he was served with a cease-and-desist demand by former political secretary to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim-turned-corporate high-flyer Datuk Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak.
Not only is he unfazed by the syringe attack on his only 12-year-old son, the former PKR deputy president has openly expressed his preparedness to meet Farhash in court for all his statements about the latter are based on facts.
Or neither would Rafizi apologise or retract his Aug 20 video involving Farhash whereby he confirmed that a week before his son’s assault, he had met with a whistleblower regarding a scandal that he was investigating of which the information centred on Farhash and the dealings of his companies.
“Oh, Oh … Strongly advise Farhash not to sue Rafizi (RR) … RR can spill everything in court then,” advised vocal human rights activist and lawyer Siti Kasim.

Political satirist tokcin (@tokcin70) reckoned that Farhash is playing with fire if he thinks that his letter of demand can shut the Pandan MP’s mouth.
“You’re wrong. The court is not a trap for Rafizi – it’s a stage. Every document becomes evidence, every question becomes a revelation,” he reacted to Farhash’s cease-and-desist letter for Rafizi.

As opposition-inclined lawyer Siditious (@Solisidto) put it, “Farhash will only expose himself to cross-examination in the witness box by Rafizi’s lawyer” if he proceeds with his lawsuit against Rafizi.
“This cross-examination can’t be dodged. Every question must be answered, no avoidance whatsoever. If the answers are shaky and unconvincing, it can affect someone’s case in court,” cautioned the political observer.
