PETALING JAYA: A 60-year-old man was arrested by Selangor police this morning for having sex with a goat. The goat died.
Hulu Selangor police chief Arsad Kamaruddin said the suspect was nabbed in Kampung Sungai Buaya at 10.50am and will be remanded until tomorrow.
According to Arsad, the owner of the goat said she heard the animal making strange sounds around 1.30pm yesterday at the back of her house.
Upon checking, she discovered the man – who she knew – half-naked next to the goat. The suspect fled the scene.
Arsad said when she checked on the goat, she found it had died. The owner then lodged a police report.
The goat’s carcass was later sent to the veterinary department for a post-mortem.
Arsad said they were investigating the case under Section 377 and Section 298 of the Penal Code for unnatural sex and negligence with respect to an animal, respectively.
