Palestinian killed in Gaza City strike as tank fire hits Khan Younis
A Palestinian woman has been killed in an Israeli air strike on a residential apartment near al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, the Wafa news agency reports.
Israeli tanks have also opened heavy fire towards the southern areas of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli forces assault elderly man, arrest 10 in West Bank’s Nablus raid
Israeli soldiers have assaulted an elderly Palestinian man and arrested 10 people during a raid in Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reports.
The forces stormed several neighbourhoods at dawn, searching homes and firing gas canisters, according to the report.
A source at the Palestine Red Crescent Society said an 80-year-old man was beaten and transferred to a hospital for treatment.
Ten people were arrested during the raids, including 14-year-old twin brothers and another boy of the same age.

Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under police protection
At least 500 Israeli settlers have stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under police protection on the fifth day of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, according to our colleague on the ground.
Israeli media published footage of former Knesset member and Zehut party leader Moshe Feiglin performing rituals inside the compound.
In recent days, several Israeli lawmakers and ministers have entered the compound, most prominently National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who said: “We are the owners of the house, we defeated them.”

Israeli strikes and drone activity reported in southern Lebanon
Lebanon’s National News Agency is reporting a series of Israeli attacks across southern Lebanon.
According to the agency, Israeli forces shelled the towns of Haddatha, Kfar Tebnit, Zawtar al-Sharqiyah and Baraachit, where artillery fire hit a house.
Israeli drones have also flown over Lebanon’s Marjayoun, NNA added.
