It is PAS who is 'Dajjal', Zahid fires back at Hadi

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi fired back today after PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang branded Umno as being worse than “Dajjal”.
“It is them who is the Dajjal,” said the Umno president today in a doorstop interview at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur where his party’s general assembly was taking place.
In Islam, Dajjal is an evil figure who would deceive people during the end of time and lead them away from the faith. The Christian equivalent would be the anti-Christ.
Yesterday, Hadi in his latest “Minda Presiden” article accused Umno of being corrupted by money politics and of being worse than Dajjal.
He alleged that Umno and its ally Pakatan Harapan used materialism as their main weapon to hold on to power by evil means, including during the recent Nenggiri polls which Umno won.
Meanwhile, Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan, when asked about the issue, was indifferent to the Marang MP’s remarks.
“It’s okay. If that is how he understands the Quran, then just let him be.
“I can’t argue because I am not as religious as he is,” Mohamad quipped.
The foreign minister added that calling others Dajjal would only worsen the disunity among Malays.
“So I would just let people say what they want to say. Because, at the end of the day, Allah is the one who decides who He wants to reward.”

ReplyDeleteThe last Malaysian PM who left in good standing was Mahathir during his 1st round, 20 years ago.
ReplyDeleteAll other PMs since then have left badly.
Must be the bad Feng Shui of the PM residence.
