A heated altercation between Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers and a balloon vendor recently made waves online, sparking intense discussions both publicly and privately. However, one private conversation has raised serious concerns after a disturbing message surfaced, allegedly inciting violence against DBKL officers.


PKR politician Dr. Faiz Na’aman took to Facebook to reveal a screenshot from a WhatsApp group chat where a participant urged others to attack DBKL officers with acid or hot water. According to Dr. Faiz, the message not only encouraged violent retaliation but also contained extremist sentiments and political undertones, linking the issue to the Madani government era.


The content included, “A threat and intimidation of injury against DBKL enforcement officers.”


“I have received a screenshot from this WhatsApp group. It seems that this extremist group has the intention to incite chaos, criminal actions with political sentiments involved (they have linked things to the Madani era), and this person even insulted Malay people in a flat-out manner. I have advised the owner of the screenshot to file a police report immediately.”


The message in question called for an aggressive stance against DBKL officers, claiming that only through violent means would they “learn their lesson.” The sender further expressed frustration over what they perceived as the Malay community being taken advantage of under the current administration.


The sender also alleged that many Malays have been misled and manipulated during the Madani government’s rule and insisted that punitive action should be taken against those who contribute to this situation.


Dr. Faiz’s revelation has sparked widespread alarm, with many calling for authorities to take immediate action against such dangerous rhetoric. The incitement of violence against public officers raises serious legal and ethical concerns, and there are growing calls for law enforcement to investigate the individuals behind these messages.
