Indian IGP is Lord Krishna's Lover

This is an awesomely divine story, and I mean ‘divine’ in the godly sense. I would like to see our IGP and his deputy take up something of a loving nature like this man? ;-)

The Inspector General of Police in Uttar Pradesh State in India, Mr Devendra Kumar Panda, had a revelation in 1991, when he was told by Lord Krishna Bhakti that he was the Lord God’s lover Radha.

That was some 15 years ago, and now he has decided to come out completely in the open about his quasi-divine status. As Radna, naturally he has dressed him(her?)self in feminine attires, all complete with headgear jewellery, a nose ring, and the mark of matrimony, the vermillion Sindoor.

According to Mr Panda a.k.a (also known as) Mrs Krishna Bakti a.k.a Radna a.k.a as ‘Sir’ to his policemen, he would spend most of his time dancing and singing bhajans supposed to have been sung by Radha for her beloved.

Indeed, according to the Times of India, he or she - just bear with me while I try to sort this pronoun out as I blog on this fantastic story - played a perfect wife to Lord Krishna. She or he – sorry, I still can’t make up my mind - would cooked food of Lord Krishna’s choice, namely, sabzi and roti. Hmmm, I thought sabzi is Iranian rather than Indian food. OTOH, maybe Lord Krishna likes Iranian food?

And mind you, he or she – am still working this out - assures us that Lord Krishna relishes whatever she (okay, let’s settle on this gender for a while but I reserve the right to switch back) cooks because she loves Him. Indeed, the way to a man's heart is through his tummy, though some may say that's raising the standards a wee too high.

However, his own Radha, namely wife Veena Panda, married for the last 30 years to … eh … Lord Krishna's favourite gopis is pretty pissed off with his or her antics. Veena Panda is more earthly and has wisely secured from the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court, a monthly maintenance of 7,000 rupees from the wayward (adulterous?) husband.

Lord Krishna is such a popular Hindu god that devotees spent time researching, preparing and presenting a paper on him at a convention in India recently. Using a combination of computer technology, the Vedas and astronomical charts, they have worked that Krishna died at the age of 125 on February, 3102 BCE at 14:27:30 hours - jeez, how more precise can they get - on the banks of river Hiran in Prabhas Patan - and the location too. As the report stated, he was 125 years, 7 months and 6 days old when he left the earth for his divine abode.

  2. Well anonymous, you need to be aware fo the facts yourself. Mr Panda's case ;-) was all over the Times of India and Hindu Times for several days - in fact there was a copycat case as well.

Whether he has been a fake or not is irrelevant to the posting, which was to show the wierd. This posting is not about serious religion - you're too serious and I suspect fundamentalist. I know who Krshna is, or Rama or Vishnu.

BTW there is no such thing as a religious scientist or a scientific religion ;-) those would be oxymorons.

Now, you have been a naughty boy, telling the blogger what to do on his blog - remember blog etiquette - disgree with him, argue with him, attack his views BUT don't ever tell a man what he cannot do in his own house.
